nice stay
By ,
The view from the many windows was wonderful. The fact that fresh air was avaialble (the windows opened on the 20th floor) fabulous. The room had personality. An old posterity in clean linen and covers. The lobby had plenty of seats, and one could sit in peace. The airport shuttle was easy. The concierge was very pleasent and helpful with information about the surrounding attractions and dinning. The bathroom was full of luxury. Robe, plenty of towels, soaps, etc. and a bidie? The extra french toilet thing. And nice tile work.

It was in the heart of Montreal..the city that never sleeps.. The hotel was clean interesting and the service was great. The dining in the restaurants was fantastic where the food was excellent and the service the same. We took the whole family and would go again...the kids loved the pool..

Best

The Fairmont Queen Elizabeth in Montreal was probably one of the most elegant hotels I've stayed in. The rooms are beautifully decorated and you almost don't want to leave. The staff is warm and willing to help. The meals are rich in creativity and flavor. The hotel is located right above the underground subway and shops. I highly recommend!

decent hotel in Montreal
By ,
I stayed their last week for a conference. The room was a nice size and comfortable. The bathroom could've been cleaner though - hair in the bathtub and old soap in the soap tray. The overall service was good. We had breakfast in the first floor restaurant several days in a row. The food was fine, and the service was good 2 days out of three. There is a pool and gym which I didn't get a chance to use. Wireless access is a joke. They only have cable in the rooms. And the wireless they have in the lobbies (that you have to pay for) doesn't work in the conference rooms!

Good location, average hotel, bad eggs
By ,
Stayed here for a conference over the weekend. It was nicely located close to shopping. The rooms were nice, but not sure up to 'Fairmont' standards. Ordered breakfast to the room, but the scrambled eggs were AWFUL. Although a decent hotel, If I came back to Montreal, I would probably stay somewhere else.

I never slept in more comfortable beds in a hotel. The location is perfect! Staff is great. Food is not cheap but hey, it's a 4 star hotel ok?

Good Experience
By ,
The Hotel is very elegant, and very clean. It has a lot of resources close by including two restaurants and a mall underneath the hotel. I enjoyed my stay there, and would defintely stay there on my next trip up to Montreal.
