Courtyard Montreal Downtown, Montreal

This property is no longer a Marriott property. I stayed at this hotel exclusively when I traveled in Montreal. I always found it to be comfortable and economical. It will be hard justifying the high cost of the other Marriott properties in the Montreal area.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. There was nothing we noticed that was off at all. The beds were very nice. Every person on the staff was knowledgeable and eager to help with any question and could give recommendations. The breakfast bar was very good, maybe a bit pricey. You can access the internet with their one computer. I'd stay there again without hesitation.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The room did not have a lot of walking space, but was still quite pleasant. The location was excellent, jut a short walk to the metro station, McGill, St Catherine's Street, and Chinatown. We were able to get a great rate on our room by using a discount website and we got a lot for our money. Parking is $13 (CDN) a day which is very reasonable. The staff was friendly and there are doormen preasant at all times, a rarity for a discount chain hotel. We forgot our swimsuits but there is a hotel on the top floor of the hotel as well as a gym. We will definitely consider staying here again.
