Gray Rocks, Mont-Tremblant

Gray Rocks created many wonderful memories over the years and now that she is gone, she will be missed much like a close member of the family. Where there fancier hotels, sure. Where there bigger mountains, sure. Gray Rocks had life, a personality like no other. I shall cherish my Gold pins now more than ever, knowing that there are no more. I say thanks to Pierre, Tom, Wayne, and so many of the other great instructors who gave so much. Jean Claude was a waiter of extroidinary talents. He was Gray Rocks. I already miss those runs on the back side, Bonaventure, the bumps, Doc Snow on the front side. I shall miss sitting by the circular fireplace after a long day of skiing and enjoying a good drink. I shall miss you ol' girl.

My parents used to take us to Grey Rocks all the time as kids. Both for the tennis and for skiing. I loved the lake and relaxed grounds atmosphere and the inclusive nature of the week activities. Now I'm a dad and am so excited about taking my family that my daughter's too young to remember (10 mos old) but we're planning our first family trip anyway.

This Hotel is THE WORST! I would have rather camped in the parking lot than stay at the hotel and deal with the personal behind the counter. Not only were they rude, but they could care less in helping you out with any problems that might occur at the hotel. The room was fithly, cold, had no extra blankets, and if you like cement as a mattress well you are in luck. I would bring a broom and sponge because you will need it to clean the bathroom, because they do not clean them. DO NOT go to the spa...it is extremely cold and the staff there do not shower or at least didn't on my visit. I would check out any other option that you might have including all camping grounds and any open pieces of grass.

Best value in the area...certainly better than the Mickey Mouse atmosphere of the Tremblant core. It is nestled in a quaint and quiet area and yet very close to all activities.
