Days Inn - Niagara Falls, Niagara Falls

This Hotel ripped me off!!! They charged my credit card 6 days before my scheduled arrival. I complained to manager and requested a credit. The manager stated I was responsible for the room charge of $198.00 and refused to credit my account. I made attempts to cancel 5 days prior to arrival and they refused. They also stated that their policies and procedures are unique to only this hotel. Customer Stay Away!!!!

Made reservations here because the cost seemed right and they have a shuttle to the casino (important for my 80 yr. old Mother in town for denture work...what a mistake). The rooms are what the others here describe. The whole place is in dire need of renovation. It reminded me of the Days Inn I stayed in on Canal St. one time in New Orleans...it was like camping out. Dirty rooms, moldy bathroom, sink that leaks water, AC that doesn't work, peeling wallpaper...all in all my typical Days Inn experience anymore. It's a chain that's totally lost me now. I can't even recommend this hotel to die hard, stay anywhere college kids. Be smart and pass on this one...there are so many other hotels in the Falls and a lot at better prices that cannot possibly be as bad or worse than this one is.

The rooms were dark and dingy, the paint is coming off the walls, the beds are old and worn out, you cannot regulate the heat in the rooms well, the pool has "way, way" to much chlorine in it, the sauna doesn't even get really hot, the pool bathrooms are discussing. If they tell you when you are making your reservation that they won't charge your credit card "beware" they do anyway even if you pay cash!!!! You are better off staying somewhere else...Oh, and the best part is when you think you are calling the hotel you are not you are calling an off site reservation line and you can never get directly through to the hotel. Stay there at your own risk.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting! There was black mold all around the patio doors and the dirt and grime on the vents of the heating/air conditioning unit was unacceptable. Yhis place was not clean at all. I wouldn't even let my dog stay there!

I am sure you folks hear complaints all the time. We have traveled alot over the years in the U.S. and Canada. We have stayed with many hotel chains including Days Inn and have always received courteous service whenever a problem would arise (very rarely). We are very disappointed with the parking situation, the room condition and the complacent attitude of the desk staff at this hotel. I have lost the $125.00 cost for the room. I do know this... I made the best decision and that was to leave. I believe the way this hotel is being managed reflects badly on the whole chain. I know that we will think twice before using a Days Inn Hotel anywhere again.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. However, the rooms were dingy and old. Our air conditioner did not work, the room smelled, and the bathroom was moldy and very old. The maintenance man told us that 8 air conditioner units were already at the repair shop and he did not have another to replace the one in our original room. We moved to another room where the air conditioner worked, but by morning it was getting very loud. The room had a large stain in the carpet, a sofa bed that was supposed to be beige, but had many stains. It was old and very hard to sit on. The TV remote did not work. This room was off a hallway that was poorly lit and very loud. I have stayed at Days Inn properties before, with very good, as well as rather bad experiences.A friend recommended the Days Inn Fallsview, so we made reservations. We left after our first night.We would have left immediately except we would have to forfeit one night's rental fee. The Comfort Inn (about two doors away) had beautiful rooms, 2 pools, a jacuzzi, and a complimentary continental breakfast for a little more money. It is a brand new Comfort Inn (30 days since opening). It was well worth the change. This was my last stay at a Days Inn.

hotel was old and run down. room was tolerable, but bathroom was old and dirty looking. Parking was rediculous;had to park two streets over. However the staff was helpful.

The location was great! Service was fine. But the room has MOLD on the ceiling above the patio door to the other side of the wall. There was a light half hanging out of the ceiling. The washroom had a drop-down ceiling which has cracked and stained. The shower had the start of mold in the grout. The shower tiles had obvisiouly been repaired but nobody bothered to make them the same colour as the rest of the shower. So there was 3 large squares of white amongst yellow tiles and the rubber mat for the shower looked dirty.

We stayed at this Hotel, but realized we didnt want to stay there instantaneousley. There were numerous holes in the walls in the room we stayed in, and hardly anything really worked in the room. The bathroom even seemed dirty when we walked in. The whole room seemed to have a bad vibe Don't stay here, opt for somewhere more along the lines of the Hilton. We had booked 4 days at the Days Inn, but still had time to stay there to enjoy the trip.

I would never stay at a Days Inn again. The bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor. The lighting was very poor or the lamp didn't work. The TV remote didn't work. The bath mat had stains on it. The pillows were flat like a pancake.
