Sandman Hotel Revelstoke, Revelstoke

The hotel is way over rated. It is at best one star motel. We stay one night last week in the hotel. When we checked in, the receptionist couldn't locate our reservation even I have the reservation printed out. By the time we finally walk into the room. we can't help notice that the carpet is dirty, worn out with lot of dirty mark. The hair dryer failed on the floor and the ice machine is out of services. When we need to do the laundry, we notice the laundry room next door is closed. When we called the receptionist, who refused to let us use the laundry room. When we asked for suggestion of laundry services in town, we were refered to the yellow page. Finally we walked to the neighbor motel. The owner allowed us to use their laundry facility. I notice their carpet is much cleaner and their rate is one third less the Sandman.
