Inns of Banff, Banff

The rooms were clean but the walls needed to be repainted and the carpet was very old. Breakfast buffet was not refreshed with hot food very often. Outdoor hot tub very nice and beautiful view. Would not stay here again.

We love the location of Inns of Banff. It's away from the hussle and bussle of town yet only a 5-7 min walk away. The views are spectacular. We utilize the outdoor hot pool as well as the indoor pool and the pub in the basement has great food and reasonable prices. We've stayed there twice and plan to go back in the New Year once again.

We love the Inns of Banff and regularly stay on our ski trips due to the enjoyable outdoor hot tub. It really caps off a great day of skiing the Canadian Rockies. We have stayed in a few other hotels in Banff, but for the price you can't beat the Inns of Banff and the hot tub. It is a little further away from downtown which suits us just fine. The walk to and from dinner at a downtown restaurant adds to the enjoyment of the townsite. Coming from Edmonton we enjoy the quiter areas of Banff and other than a little window shopping and meals we don't spend a lot of time downtown. Have I mentioned how enjoyable the outdoor rooftop hot tub is? The rooms are also comfortable and clean.

My husband and I checked out most of the inns around Banff and found this one to be well priced and very accomodating. They upgraded us to a condo style room as we have 4 young children and it suited us well. I was a little nervous of the very steep stairs and the overlooking loft that my kids liked to peer over. They would not have been able to do this if the bed was not so close to the edge as it was a high ledge. A little scary. But we loved the room otherwise and the trails around the inn were wonderful to hike on. Beautiful scenery and my kids loved the waterslide and pool.

When I checked in the clerk talked me into upgrading to a Jr. Suite saying it would be much quieter, more comfortable with a great view. Although I was traveling by myself on a budget ski weekend, I went for it. The room was as represented, nice size with separate BR area, quite, very clean and comfortable, big balcony with a great view. Fridge and microwave were nice to have and was walking distance to DT. Only complaint, the TV couldn't be rotated so it can be viewed from the sofa. Overall, a nice hotel with good amenities (pools were however out of order). I travel a lot and I will stay here again.
