Wouldn't stay here unless extremely desperate.

We recently went down to the Wyoming State Fair and needed a place to stay. As luck would have it, the only availability was at the Motel 6. Upon check-in, I saw the only employee I would see during our stay. She gave us our keys and we went to the room. The room was terribly beat up in wear. It looked like someone had tried to get into the door with a crowbar. The beds appeared clean, but the entire rest of the room was disgusting. The floors needed vaccuumed, the tile was grungy and dirty. I had to take cleaner to clean the counters, sink, and bathroom area. Flies were in abundance in the room and I don't think anyone had ever looked under the beds as they were littered with bottle caps and other garbage.
The soda machine did not work and took money when a purchase was attempted. No staff were on hand to help with the situation. When an extra blanket and pillow were requested late that night via a service phone at the front desk, an approximate 10 year old girl came out to help me and get the requested items. A 10 year old at 1 in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!! Upon check-out, no staff was available for help, so keys had to be left on the front desk. I am assuming that this hotel is owned by a family who resides there. I was absolutely disgusted by the lack of cleanliness and the disrespect of the owners for their patrons. I paid $80 for this room and would probably felt more comfortable had I slept in my vehicle instead. WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN!!!
