Not reccommended
By Gina, 07/06/09
First of all, I believe this hotel was way over priced. There was not even a refrigerator or microwave in the room. The coffee maker did not work, the staff was rude, and we had trouble getting into the southwest door in the evening. Apparently the card slot was broken and they did nothing to fix it expect put a piece of tape on the door latch on the last night that we were there. We stayed three nights. Our bill came to $470 and it was completely not worth it!! The rooms were nothing to brag about as their were no extras for the convenience of staying there several nights in a row. I will not be staying there again.

What a great last minute pick!
By Kathy J, 08/06/08
The staff was friendly and accomodating! Wanted a room with a frig, asked and no problemo, had one. Clean, very comfortable rooms and beds. The pillows were more for relaxing than sleeping, but still great. Bath and Body Works products which were a nice touch. Easily accessible and the restaurant in the hotel was very nice with good food. The pool was open until 1am so that was a nice switch too! We came back from being out late and were still able to relax in the pool. Good reception on the TV and nice assortment of channels to choose from. Dislikes were few, but here they are... high speed internet access, but NOT FREE??, pretty noisy plumbing when other rooms are showering, room climate control a little hard to judge and has to be played with. None of this would stop us from coming again for sure! Enjoyed our stay and glad this ended up being our last minute choice for the night. Great value for the money we paid. Had a package deal that threw in Sunday morning brunch!

Nice place from a frequent traveler.

I perform at Renaissance Faires all over, including the Bristol Renaissance Faire IN Kenosha. I am a long time Marriott Rewards member and have been exclusive to Marriott brand for several years. During the Bristol Season, I stay in Racine every weekend. I alternate between Fairfield and Marriott depending on availability and which hotel is having a special that weekend. This one is my favorite, and I’ve been just about everywhere. A year ago I declared Racine as “my other home town” and this past summer they did not fail to live up to it. Having a restaurant and room service on site is very convenient. The room that are remodeled look great. Some were still under construction when I was there last. Very friendly staff and great service. TRY THE CHEESE CURDS!! K.J.

world class wedding
By Pat, 01/13/06
The room was beautiful. The "doggy bag" was gift wrapped in a little box. the coffee service after dinner was set out on a beautiful table with linnens and flowers. At least a 1/2 dozen treats to go into the coffe were set out. I've been around the world and this was the most beautifully done wedding. The classy touches went on and on.
