Landmark Resort, Egg Harbor

I made our reservations online and reserved a 2 bedroom suite. I called the resort the same day I made reservations to verify that our suite was reserved (because I read a review earlier where someone arrived and they did not have a room ). I had a conf# and a price verification. The person who took my call said that if I had a conf#, everything was all set and my price was also verified at that time. I called again to verify our room the morning of our arrival, and again was told that we did have a 2 bedroom suite reserved. Upon arrival, we were sent to a unit which turned out to be a one bedroom. It had not been cleaned; bed unmade, dishes in sink, food on floor...really creepy. We returned to check-in desk and told them we had reserved a 2 bedroom unit and that this unit was dirty. The desk clerk apologized and then told us we would have to pay a $40 upgrade for a 2 bed unit. We asked to speak with a manager and the clerk went to get one. The manager ran into a back room and would not come out to speak with us. She told the clerk to tell us that we would have to pay for an upgrade even though we had reserved our room at a guaranteed price. Since everything was pretty booked in town, we had no choice. The desk clerk put the blame on the online booking agency. We went to our new suite which had 2 beds. The refrigerator was dirty and there was black hair on the bed sheets. Other than all of this, the unit was comfortable and quiet and had everything we needed. We did enjoy the pools and grounds, and the views were beautiful. Parking on the weekend can be difficult to find. The customer service at this resort needs an overhaul and the manager needs to get brave enough to face her customers rather than dumping on the desk clerks. Make sure you get names when you make reservations here as everyone will pass the buck if there is a mistake. If you have other plans on check-in day, arrive early, the check-in process is very slow. There are better places in same price range.

I was with my in-laws whom have young children. We paid for a loft suite which wasn't children-friendly whatsoever. It was a nice space but it was unbearably hot upstairs so we all slept on couches or on the floor of the downstairs. I think they may need a second a/c upstairs or switch to central air. I will return only if they make two of the three bedrooms somewhat comfortable.

We returned this month for our second vacation there and it was just as fun as last year. We enjoyed the three pools (one indoor), tennis courts, backetball court, exercise facilities and on-site dining. Close travel to many golf courses, great shopping and a variety of dining establishments. Enjoyed going to Pennisula State Park to fish, hike and golf as well as other attractions in reasonable travel distances. We will return!

The condo we rented was very homey & comfortable. We were either at the pool or out checking out nearby towns. The pools were very nice.Nice comfortable furniture by the pools. The hot tub was nice & clean. There is an awesome sunken living room where you can get some really neat photos. It was nice having two bathrooms with a family of 5. I would definately recommend it to my friends & family. I would re-visit.

The place is like going to a old musty hotel. The rooms are small and it is so cramped. The management must be out of touch with reality. It has the appeal of an 80 year old. They are rude at the front desk and it comes off small town mentality. I would never stay or eat at this location. There are a lot of nice places to stay but this is not one of them. Pick another place to stay and eat. The pool is dirty too. It was not worth the money.

This place was terrible, just absolutely filthy. The room was dirty, outdated, cramped, there was broken appliances and the carpet was old and black, our feet would turn black just from walking for not even 5 mins. The kitchen was small, outdated, had a broken stove, coffee pot, and broken utensils, the fridge was dirty and grimey, the living room was old, the sofas had stains, the master bedroom was no "master bedroom" at all, its so small, you can't even fit the suitcases on the floor because there was no walking room, the bathroom was cramped, filthy, had nasty tasting water,there were alwys bugs in the sink, the stairs going up the kids room was narrow which i fell on a couple times, the kids room was tiny, dusty, dity, the curtain in the room had a layer of dust and spider webs, the lamp in the kids room had a layer of dust as well, even the controllers were dirty, the carpet in the kids room was just horrible, the maids obviously didn't vacuum it, under their beds there was other peoples nails, bandaids, receipts, clothing tags and coke cans, no one cleaned up there before we arrived, this resorts room had no storage or closet space, there was no room for the suitcases. The room doesn't have a washer or drier so you have to bring the dirty clothes in bags down to the laundry room. Stay away from this resort! its located in egg harbor, and there is nothing to do in egg harbor, i reccomend you drive north to fish creek. Dont bring teens here, they'll hate you forever, they'll be so bored. Door county= forests, wildlife, biking, fishing, antiquing, and eating.

I have been going to this place sense I was 12 for my moms convention she has there every year and its just awesome, especially in the fall. guaranteed an awesome vacation or just a weekend stay anytime. not to mention the pumpkin festival is right in town very close by but dont plan and parking to close to it :)

The Landmark Resort was wonderful. Once we had checked in and had gotten to the room the front desk staff called to make sure our room was to our liking. We were on the ground floor and the room was beautiful. Full kitchen, dining room, nice livingroom, porch, and seperate bedroom. The view out our window or on the porch was supurb. All the trees and the view of the well maintained golf course before a wonderful view of the lake. Sunsets are especially gorgeous. This resort provides a home like feel and is great to come back to after a day of shopping and exploring all the peninsula has to offer. I will be back!

The Landmark in Egg Harbor Door County, WI has one of the best views of the Green Bay and the Sunsets are beautiful any time of year. The location is ideal. The 2 bedrooms, waterview and the Best and have everything you need and are comfortable for a family or couples. The staff is friendly and helpful. We love it.

My husband and I took our family to the Landmark in early July. We had a wonderful time. Our kids range from 7 up to 12 they all enjoyed it. There were 3 outdoor pools, game room, tennis and basketball. The resort has the most spectacular view I have ever seen. My husband and I were able to enjoy the sunset from the lobby while the kids played board games. It was VERY relaxing.
