Never Again!!
By ,
Although, this will be my LAST stay here. There are some positive things. I like the new look. The glass elevators are neat. I like the openess of the floors. The skywalks are handy to get from place to place without having to go outside. Convenient place to stay if you are going to the Frontier Airline Center or Milwaukee Theatre or downtown to watch a Bucks game. The bed was sooooo comfortable. I appreciated the view from the 15th floor west side. This view costs you $10 a day extra. I suggest reading all the fine print of any sort of deal you might find on this hotel on their website or elsewhere. When a person checks in they need to confirm with the guest what is or isn't expected in their room. I asked for a refrigerator and there was not one. A hotel of this standard should automatically have one. To have a frig will also cost you $8 a day. They tried to charge me for one when I checked out. I didn't have one. I asked for no housekeeping the first day of my stay and found a housekeeper in my room when I specifically asked not to have any. I was furious. They aren't using the right cleaning product or just not cleaning the new bathroom counters correctly. Its gross. The second housekeeper I had did a much better job. Didn't get final bill yet. They better not add anything else on the bill as I read other reviews. I specifically called the Hyatt on the Monday before my stay to get the final price of my room so I could pay for it and so I could get reimbursed before I went. Went I went to check out they charged me $60 more than the person who told me Monday. They pulled this last time I stayed. That is why I asked specifically how much it was going to be. I see they haven't put my credit card through yet but are hold almost $100 more than my invoice says when I checked out. This is stupid!! Last time I stayed there I had to pay $45 for parking for two days.

Worst stay ever and the employees very rude.
By ,
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. When I got there my room was an hour late on cleaning. I went into the room and the countertops were not even wiped off. I called the font desk and they told me that they did not have any rooms with 2 beds available. I decided since I had three other people with me to stay. The next morning when getting out of bed I almost stepped on a tack, my feet were filthy from walking on the carpet. I waited till later that night to speak with the manager. When the manager finally called me I expalianed the problem and she said that they could clean the carpet but I would have to switch to a King bed. She also said that I probably brout the tack in with me from outside. Her name was Mary and she would not comp me in any way. This month I got my credit card statement and there was an extra charge of $60 on there. I did not buy anything from this hotel. The price was too high for the crappy customer service and poorly cleaned rooms. Please do not stay here if you have a choice.

Decent stay
By ,
Nice location and very clean room. However, they charge $20 to park, $10 for the "free" internet and $3 for a bottle of water. Add it to the night's stay and don't nickel and dime us.

DON'
By ,
I reserved a King size bed room a month ahead of time at this hotel. When I arrived at the hotel they told me that they would have to put me in a double bed room because all the king size ones are taken or need to be cleaned and wont be ready for about 3-4 hours. We had dinner reservations at the Polaris at 630 and the room wouldnt be ready until way after that. So I was like what should i do take our bags and stuff with us to the restaurant?? So I took the double bed room and then called again and asked if we could wait there until later that night and switch to a king bed room since by then it will be the 3-4 hours. She was very rude and said that it will still be another 3-4 and i should just stay in the room that i'm in! She didn't apologize or anything! I never heard of a hotel changing the type of room that you reserved a month ahead of time! Then after all that we could hear the people above us bed squeaking all night and at 7AM on a SUNDAY there was LOUD construction that woke me up and there was no way i would be able to fall back asleep! They don't tell you this on the web site when your making the reservations they wait until they checked you all the way in and then say there's going to be construction in the morning! The room is very small and the bathroom is tiny! They also have little bottles of water in the room with a tag on them saying 3.00 each! For a tiny bottle of water! Then when we checked out the lady just took our keys and didn't say thanks for staying or have a nice day or anything! Not one word! Also the elevators are so slow! Theres only 2 elevators for 18 floors! We literally waited for a elevator for 20 minutes! Please take my advice and don't stay here there are WAY nicer hotels in the area where the staff is professional unlike this hotel!!

Great place to stay
By ,
Everything was great. We had to go across the street for supper because the food was to expensive upstairs. We had been riding on a bus for 4 hrs. so we wanted to walk. Got to go to the mall without going outside in the dead of winter.

Clean, but not great on small things
By ,
The place was clean and nice, but there is construction in 1/2 the building, with workers from 8am to 6pm. The staff is nice, but made small mistakes. They forgot to give us the continental breakfast coupons for the Polaris which were prepaid for (should have just ordered off the menu instead). Called ahead for my car and valet brought back the wrong one. Receptionist gave us a number for a cab after our show at the Pabst Theater and no on answered at that number. All small things, but added up to alot.

Never, Ever Again - terrible
By ,
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. First, the housekeeping service is nearly non-existent. From what I could tell, they made the bed and picked up the towels - trash was left laying around, washcloths and soaps were not replenished, tables were not wiped off, - just terrible. Even worse though, is the management of the hotel. This is a four-sided atrium hotel with approx 15 floors (just guessing, i didn't count). During my stay, at 10:00 at night, the center atrium lobby was packed full of people, yelling, screaming and chanting, making all kinds of noise disrupting the peace of the guests in the hotel. I called the front desk and asked what they could do about the noise. The guest attendent said she would transfer me to the manager on duty. I was transferred to the "back door security officer." He took my room number and said if he saw a manager, he would pass along my complaint. I then called the hotle manager using the designated button on my room phone and my call was picked up by the same security guard. No one addressed my concerns. No one returned my calls. I called the Hyatt customer service line and lodged my complaints there. I'm still waiting for a response. If you ever find yourself in Milwaukee, I would strongly recommend you avoid this hotel at all cost. They did nothing to indicate they had any interest in guest satisfactino. Awful, Awful, Awful

Sorry we will not go there again!
By ,
Will choose another hotel if we visit Milwaukee again. Stayed 2 nights but did not receive Housekeeping services. We were gone from our room most of the day. When we arrived back at around 5:00 in the evening, no one had been to our room. We were out of towels and toilet paper. We did call the front desk but still waited another 30 minutes at least. Resgisters were down one evening for a while and only cash accepted. No food could be served.
