room was not fully vaccum'ed- still had crumbs from previous person, light fixture just hanging, towels/bed are not soft, tub had hair in it, hotel staff not helpful, not worth price paid

Stayed here for just one night. Cheap rates and good location. Smaller rooms but wasn't bad for an 8 hour rest stop. Clean rooms and beds weren't bad.

The beds were extremely hard and we did not have any hot water for our shower. The room also smelled like it had been used as a smoking room but just cleaned up to make it a "nonsmoking" room. Definitely would not recommend this hotel.

Don't use Hotwire - Received a smoking room with one small bed - as did others at the hotel, seems that's the only way they can fill their rooms. Pay an extra $10 and go somewhere else!

We had a funeral to attend in Eau Claire. I was first given a handicap room & wanted a regular room for showering purposes. I was given another room which was a smoking room (I requested a nonsmoking room) & the smell was so bad I had to flip for yet another room. We were then given a room up on the 2nd floor which believe it or not, had a dirty kleenex in the bed, a dead gnat & 3 long black hairs. I called for fresh sheets & was brought two sheets, neither one was a fitted sheet & no pillow cases. I had to walk back down for the pillow cases. Needless to say, the bed was so small & the sheets did not fit properly & we slept terribly. The night desk clerk claimed he would let the manager know & I left "Skyie" the housekeeper a note but to no prevail; no one contacted me or apologized. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!!! As for those who had a good review, you lucked out & I would NEVER take the chance of this type of hospitality again.

Rooms on the small side but very clean. Sink on the outside of the bathroom which we like and the outside windows open for fresh air. Beds are good and sheets pillows and towels are spotless.Location is pretty good and deacent eating places are close. Staff is very friendly. We would stay here again.
