The Cliff Dwellers, Sturgeon Bay

This place was great for my husband and I. We stayed in the Cedar Cottage, a small studio cottage for 2. All of the cottages have recently been refurbished/redecorated, and ours was very nice with new kitchen appliances, furniture, comfy bed, great bathroom, Pella windows and doors, great wood cabinetry throughout. We especially liked the stone patio off of the living area. The resort was quiet and relaxed, the pool was nice, the view from the cottage was a great view of Sturgeon Bay. The price was a little high ($180+tax per night), but the privacy of the cottage and the view was worth it.

We stay at Cliff Dwellers at least once each summer and always love it. Mostly we stay in the hotel, but we have stayed in a cabin once also. We love it! The property is gorgeous, and we usually make use of the outdoor pool as well. Very relaxing. Very beautiful. Wonderful service, peaceful walks... Really a nice place and we look forward to going each summer.

The location within Door County is amazing. You are right at the water but stay in a cabin within the woods. Pottawatomi State Park is 600feet away and allows for extended hikes and bike rides. Sturgeon Bay is a town that is going through a tremendous revival and is within less than 5 minutes car drive. The remodeled cabins are great, with very modern interior design and all the amenities any visitor would want. Highly recommmended. Suggested cabins are Maple, Basswood or Birch! Basswood being the best.
