ATROCIOUS and rated 2 by AAA!

Like the other reviewer said, simply the worst hotel/motel ever experienced. Changed rooms twice before deciding that we needed a door that closed and locked, and a bathroom light fixture suspended from the wires was not what we were looking for. Lady behind the desk was very nice, looked understanding when we said we couldn't stay. I wrote to AAA and told them about it last July, 2005. They assured me it would be looked at and re-evaluated. It is still in their new tour book, and still rated 2 diamonds. Indoor pool was drained, green and crumbling. No meeting rooms, smelled of decay throughout. No valet laundry, restaurant or any amenities of any kind as put forth in the book. This is a failing business, and I would feel sorry for them, if I hadn't wasted so much of our families' vacation, booking, checking-in and out, and then trying to find somewhere else to stay. It really was the worst I've ever seen, and I am not a snob, I've stayed all over the place. Thanks, don't make this mistake!
