Comfort Inn Beckley, Beckley

Who ever heard of a hotel with 2 floors and no elevator? Imagine carrying luggage, cooler, computer and travel toiletries bag up a narrow stairway. Room was clean but never again.

The desk man, SAM, was RUDE and very unhelpful. The hotel is dirty and run down. The rooms are the same. I would NEVER stay here again; I intend to call the corporate office and complain. (We had to stay here as it was the only availability within 150 miles and we had been driving 12 hours. We should have slept in the car!)

Warning to all: BED BUGS. In my 41 years of life, I have never had experienced bed bugs. We arrived late at night and within a minute of turning out the lights my left side was itching. I showed my husband and he told me there were about a dozen bumps clustered. The only way I found out what the bites were, was from searching the internet. This room was filthy, the bed linens were filthy, the floors were dusty as were the fixtures. We had to sleep with the lights on, due to the bed bugs, not that we slept a wink all night. The place made our skin crawl.

I stayed at the Days Inn and the Desk Attendant was just that; attentive. I found the room to be satisfactory. As I am in the military I was extended a discount...I thought it very nice as it is not in the company policy to do so. The room was clean, nice TV, and considering current hotel prices the 78 dollars was not unreasonable. There was a pool, a minimally equipped fitness room, and a small breakfast...I was not unhappy at all. It is a convenient place to rest along the 77 corridor and well placed for my purpose.

this was terrible...smelly..bed spread ancient..mattresses had sink holes in them...carpet filthy....unfortunately while i was there a large funtion was going on and non smoking rooms could not be found.. will never stay there again..person whom recommended it was very embarrassed..

We stayed at Days Inn in Beckley, WV. 300 Harper park drive. After check in our key cards would not open the exterior or interior doors. The beds and pillows were both flat, We called the front desk to ask for extra pillows and they said that they didnt have any. The toilet was loose on the floor letting raw sewage spilled out onto the floor. We discovered that the next moring and reported it to the cleaning lady, She reported it to maintenance. When the maintenance man showed up, he said that we would have to move to another room for him to repair the toilet. So we packed our stuff up and move to another room. In which we discovered a leaky fridge that would not even cool pop! The dry wall tape in the shower area was hanging down and the whole bathroom looked like it needed to be remodled. I give this hotel a 1* rating. I would never stay here ever again. All of this happended on 3/3 and 3/4 while we were trying to attended the Beckley Basketball Tournment. Which made it very inconvient.

I stayed at this days in due to death in my family and the staff at this hotel were the best. I was greeted with sympothy as if they knew my family.... it really showed that they cared.. and in a situation like I found myself in it helps when you know that there are still people in this world who care. We are planning a trip back in a few months to tie up loose ends and I assure you that we will be staying at Days Inn.. Dont pass this hotel up...it may be something you will regret. Great thanks go out to the late night shift for saving the obituaries for me.... YOU'RE THE BEST!!!!!!!!

Well it was clean, but that is it. The price was too high. For ninety dollars a night I could have stayed at a hotel in Vegas. There was nothing in walking distance to do.
