Silverdale Beach Hotel, Silverdale

I recommended this hotel out of MANY in the area to my grandparents who traveled for 4 days to come visit. They paid over $500 for 4 nights and they have not been able to sleep until 2am when the hotel festivities have ended. They called the front desk to complain and all they got was "I can ask for the crowd to quiet down". Now I realize people are not going to end their party so that the other guests can sleep, but there was no sort of compensation, no accommodation for this. They could have moved rooms. A night could have been comped. Being in the hotel business myself, this hotel has conducted it's self in such a poor manor I will never recommend it again.

my husband and i enjoyed an excellent weekend getaway here we got a suite and it was incredibly romantic, and fun with their bar.....

we stayed there and we loved it! (Compared to the other hotel we checked into and out of within 10 minutes of arriving (nasty and expensive). It was awesome watching the tide come in in the morning and the service was awesome. They have the best little coffee shop there, it was great. The rooms are great, the beds were big and very comfortable. We will definitely recommend this hotel and will look forward to staying there again in the future. Keep up the great work.

Only thing I wasn't real crazy about was the fact that my room was so close to the lounge and there was a class reunion going on and it was kind of noisy while trying to get some sleep. The view was great and I can't wait to go back again!

The hotel was clean and neat. The service was good and the location convenient. The view was wonderful however the hotel food was not as good as I had expected. I had the halibut and it was extremely tough (overdone). My granddaughter had salmon which she liked and my 91 year old Aunt had clam chowder which she raved about. LSR

Planned on a quiet, romantic weekend with my husband. The photos on the website show a luxurious bed and accommodation. Surprise. They've renovated 3 rooms. And since this hotel is pretty large, chances of you getting one of those 3 are slim. The bed, linens and pillows have probably not been changed out for 10 years. Needless to say, we spent as much time out of the room as possible.

We especially liked the fact the pool was open at five in the morning so we could USE it and the hot tub.Most hotels open their pool late morning and you are checking out when it opens.We are veteran travelers and we are getting ready to use the hotel again in a few weeks.

We asked for a roll-away bed when we reserved the room, but when we checked in they told us that they ran out. The person in the front desk don't even speak english very well. I can live with this issue, but the thing that will not make me come back to this hotel is the noise. There's not adequate sound proofing between the walls and ceiling. This should be a $100.00/day hotel, paying $140.00 is just not worth it. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

There is not much that I can say as to not liking this Hotel. Washington weather is not the best and being so close to the water I would really like to see more sunshine but what can you really do about that. One thing that I can say is that the staff was great and made me feel right at home. I also give the night bartender five stars. She made the best drinks that I have ever had. I very much enjoyed my stay and will return again.

Had a great view.... however, the fire alarm went off one morning around 6am - no one tried to notify the guests or anything to evacuate their room. When called the front desk it was an off handed remark - yes that is a fire alarm. Fortunately it was a false alarm but I feel they could have handled the situation better. No compensation was made for the inconvenience.
