Red Lion Port Angeles, Port Angeles

Location was good and close to ferry, but room had problems: shower head would not work at all, just a dribble when pulled up tub spout knob which wouldn't stay up anyway. Bathroom appeared clean but tile grout at shower area was stained dark probably from mold--yuck! We did get prompt repair of shower head the NEXT day when we told management about it, but why didn't the staff take care of it before guests had to deal with it? The restaurant was overpriced and noisy with very poor service. Hostess was unprofessional and acted like she had better things to do than seat her clients! Would not recommend this place to anyone!

I was very dissapointed with this hotel. The only thing it had going for it was the view. The room, which had a very poor renovation done recenctly, was shabby. The thermostat did not work and we were either too hot or cold because it had to be turned off. The shower head would not turn off with knob at bath nozzle. It would keep spraying while filling tub. The food was terrible for it's high price. If you want a refrigerator they bring to you on a dolly. Would not recommend to anyone.

Although it looks outdated from the outside, the rooms are absolutely beautiful on the inside. Updated, modern, gorgeous furniture upholstrey, great lighting fixtures in bathroom, peusdo-granite countertops, updated bedspread, carpet, it's really pretty. The rooms are small, but bathroom is larger than typical hotel and nice. Looks like they are in the process of updating hallway carpets in common areas, etc., which are a bit outdated, and hotel doesn't have a lot of cable channels, but overall, nice place to stay. Right on the water, it's beautiful. I was here for a business trip and also used their suites for the business meeting--was impressed with the service. This hotel is also pet friendly. Thanks!
