So So
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/6/08
Stayed one night there, rooms were very small, cute and someone classy, waking up to the pigeons at 430am, didnt like that. Service nothing to brag about, they did nothing out of the ordinary, didnt even bring our bags up to the room...

Like living in a lodge/cabin
By JennieP, 3/27/08
The wood used on the inside and out of the hotel gives me the feel that i'm at a lodge. the view from the rooms are great. you either get the ocean or city view. I chose the city view so I could see the Needle Tower from my window. This is the only hotel on the waterfront, and is within 10 blocks from the Needle Tower, Pike Place, and the ferries. There is a free hotel shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off if you are traveling in the downtown area. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The drivers, especially Chris, gave me great advice on where to eat. The room is very comfortable the bathroom is great especially the shower ... it feel like showering under a waterfall. I loved the fireplace, but it could get too warm, so good thing there is a big window next to the fireplace.

Perfect view, not so great in other aspects
By Willy, 10/22/07
It's a must to stay at the waterfront side rather than the city side or else it's a waste of money. I originally booked the cheapest room. But for $50 more I could have a room that faces the water, twice the size, and a king bed instead of a queen. The water view was truly breathtaking. The hotel and room has an Abercrombie feel, and was built decades ago. I personally prefer modern design, but that depends on people's taste. The worst part of my stay would be the noise. I could hear people walking, the voice coming from TV next room, and everytime the guest in next room opened or closed a door, I thought it was my door that was banged open. The staff was friendly, the business center accomodating, and the view worthed its money.

Wonderful!
By Val, 5/14/07
LOVE the view and decor. The breakfast was to die for. The location is perfect for catching the ferry to downtown Victoria. The rooms are warm and romantic. A true treat to stay at the Edgewater!

OUTSTANDING
By DavidA, 4/20/07
Staff is courteous and give 110% to insure that guests are comrotable and all wants and needs are cared for. Dinner overlooking the bay was the highlights of the stay along with the sound of gulls outside the room - on the water side - do not consider the land side it looks into a parking lot.

Very Nice Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/12/07
Spent 2 nights at the Edgewater enroute to B.C. It was certainly one of the best places I have stayed. Especially, for the money. Only con was the valet parking, $13.00 per night. Hotel does not own the parking rights, the pier company does. If you called before leaving your room though, the car was right at the front door waiting on you. Will definitely stay there anytime I am in Seattle.

Romantic short Trip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/13/07
Stayed one night in a city view room and loved the view out our window! The trains squeaked and clanked all night.Room was small but was very clean and updated. Bring your walking shoes and make a loop south along the water front up through Pikes Market; and loop over to the space needle; and walk back to the hotel.Had a great time and would stay here again; might get a water view room next time. I was told this was the place that Led Zeppelin stayed back in 1977 when they played the Kingdome.

Will come back again
By travel qa, 12/2/06
The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.
