Red Lion Columbia Center, Kennewick

I travel a lot and this is a great hotel for my business trips and for setting up business classes and the service is best. This Red Lion is doing a face lift remodel and will be nicer when all done. The staff remember me and seem to know exactly what I like and I can always request my same old stand by room by the fountain on the lower level facing east. Don't get on the west facing rooms. The Tri-Cities can be very hot in the summer and those rooms get too warm and face out to a boring parking lot. Request the inner court yard rooms. I take my puppy girls with me and love to take them for a walk in this garden like mini park. NO elevators! So hard for anyone that has trouble doing stairs, make sure you get a main level rooms and the staff is very good at your request. The Cavanughs Restaurant is nice and quiet and more for adult dining and great food. Not too busy. Great lunch buffets. And next door to the Mall and all other shopping and food and the convention center. Shuttle service to the airport.
