The Canterbury Inn, Ocean Shores

We needed a large room and to bring our dogs. They had a room that slept seven and was pet friendly which met our needs perfectly. Everyone in our party slept well, enjoyed the stay and we have already made reservations for next year. Thanks for treating us like family!

Nice clean rooms, nice indoor pool. We booked early for a family reunion. When we booked four rooms, as part of the rate we paid we negotiated the use of the conference room in case of rain-outs, etc. When we arrived on the scheduled Friday we were told that they had "made a mistake" and somebody else already had the conference room. "Sorry about that, take it or leave it." Imagine trying to find four rooms in the same hotel on a July weekend in Ocean Shores. A larger (and rudely loud group) obviously wanted the conference room, and were willing to pay for more rooms. We weren't told until we arrived for check-in. A complete lack of integrity on the GM's part cost us the use of the room they negotiated into our rate. Won't stay at this otherwise decent place again, or recommend it to others.

We have a small pug we hate to leave and this place is like a comfortable apartment, complete with ocean views, a fireplace and friendly staff. Clean and quiet; a perfect place for a romantic glass of wine at sunset. I love to run in the morning on the beach and return to a nice cup of coffee in the lounge/lobby without waking up my '"guys" who need a bit more slumber. Another nice touch, they had a computer for guest FREE use which was super handy since we forgot our laptop and unexpected work needed to be completed. The indoor pool was great and warmer than most we have tried. Definitely a gem of a hote.

The Canterbury Inn is the most beautiful Inn my family has ever stayed in..I will never go anywhere else..The staff was the most respectful nice people I've ever met, they made my family feel so welcome I felt like I could go to them for anything..Our room was the nicest room I've ever seen..It was so clean and fresh smelling...I will never forget our stay and will be back...They were located right next to downtown Ocean Shores..They had the most wonderful yard for the kids to play in as well as really clean nice BBQ pits...And the trails to the beach were so nice...they made our stay in Ocean Shores one we will never forget..I cant even put into words how thankful my family is to them..

A little overpriced given the economy these days. Walls are a little paper thin too which crimps privacy. But the ammenities are good. Swimming Pool, Fitness center, and jacuzzi just off the pool. There is even a room or two you can book with a jacuzzi in the room! Not bad. Tends to gouge over the weekend however, making it expensive for families to come and enjoy the facility.

Offers more of everything for the money!The rooms are way better then any Four star hotel on the beach!!!!! The children loved pool!My husband and I enjoyed the whirlpool!

Location right in Ocean Shores, with all the activities close at hand. The hotel was very clean and had a wonderful warm indoor pool right outside our door. Room #105 was beautiful and well kept, it was nice to be able to fix my kids meals they would eat and enjoy. It was a great stay. Look forward to going back and staying in the same room.

The Canterbury is the best. You will not find a cleaner better run place to stay. Staff are friendly, the rooms are always spotless. We have stayed many times and will return many more.

This is a retreat that's a treat. We really enjoyed our stay. The two bedroom unit that we stayed in, had everything, including the kitchen sink! The kids loved the pool and walks on the beach. It was a true pleasure.

Location in the heart of Ocean Shores, with all the activities close at hand. The hotel had one of the cleanest, WARM indoor pool we have ever experienced. Nice to be able to fix my kids meals they would eat and enjoy a glass of wine in front of the fireplace and ocean view in a comfortable living room. Great stay.
