The Viking, Virginia Beach

The stairwells and elevator smelled like beer and urine, parking was awful. It was cheap, I guess you get what you pay for. The room is out of 1974, and wasn't very clean. Kept my socks on the whole time in the room. I didn't even feel comfortable showering. On the last day, we found the remote for the 19 in' big box TV under the bed. We had a 'suite' and the 2nd room had the AC so we had to keep the door open to benefit from it. Unfortunately, our kids had to use extra blankets to stay warm! We arrived before check in time and they don't even have a public bathroom to use - had to walk to another hotel next door. No wi-fi, so had to try to mooch off of other nearby properties. The location is the only thing this place has going for it.
