Quality Inn Salem, Salem

Regular visitor to Salem. OK for a second rate motel with a $53 price but not for the $89 that we had to pay. Salem was full and couldn't find anything else. Drain in bath leaked all the time, We had to put towels down to keep our feet dry. Switches on light were broke. Paint peeling off the doors in the bath. In the second room that was reserved water in the coffee maker was dark brown without any coffee or tea added. Be sure and check it before you drink from it. Attitude of the Desk manager and Day manager didn't contain much professionalism. They say you have to be privileged to receive any discounts and being a regular customer doiesn't get it. You might want to try something else in the area or travel to stay someplace else

I stayed there two nights in a row. The carpet floors in the room were so dirty, when I walked barefoot into the bathroom, I left black footprints. Also,I payed with a credit card. They double priced me for both nights and my credit card still hasn't been credited for. The motel told me that they would take care of it, and they didn't so I'm in the process of straightening everything out with my credit card company. The rooms were nice if they would shampoo the carpet. If someone is interested in staying at this motel, I would advise you to pay cash!!
