Terribe experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/15/08
Fraudulent package deals - even though we had a confirmed package with tickets to Busch Gardens, Gov. pass, Yorktown/Jamestown, there were no tickets. We had dead bugs and dried blood on bedding, and mattress was very hard. RECOMMEND YOU GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

Nice stay
We stayed back in July and stayed for almost a week,it was great because we brought are 2 small dogs The staff was very friendly Jenny help us out alot then and this past weekend in Aug. .We stayed the first time in a regular room and this past weekend in the suite and was all great.Wish the pool could have stayed open until 11 but that was only minor.Great for the price and people with kids/pets.This is not for the people that want all the fuss of high class extras.AND you can smoke at this hotel.;-)

Good hotel a little to much money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/14/07
I liked the hotel but $110 was to much for the room. Great staff and location to Busch Gardens.Would had been nicer if rooms had refrigerater and microwves for families with kids. Outdoor pool was good closed @10pm.

Never again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/21/07
I made reservation in April for July, 2006. We have stayed here many, many times before. We end all our vacations with a two or three day stay in Williamsburg - when we are close enough. Having made the reservatins in April, one week prior to our stay, I called the the motel to check on our reservations, because it is very necessary that we had a first floor room. I was assured that we did, etc. I also stated at this time that I did not know what time we would be arriving because we were coming in from Savannah, GA. This too was fine with management. When we arrived at about 11:30 pm, we were told that they did not have a reservation for us. We were also told that there was nothing they could do about it because they had no vacancies; at which point a man walk in and stated that he did not have reservation but would like a room for the night for him and his family - and were given one. AT this point, the women from the motel, said she was going to call the manger up, who message to us was there was nothing she could do. Finally, one of the men there help us, he showed us two rooms, the first was too bad to stay in, it had mold all over the wall near the air conditioner. The other wasn't really too much better but no mold, and the man personally cleaned out the refrigertor for us. After many, many years of staying at this motel, it certainly went down hill fast. I was wasn't bad for the money, and they accept pets, that was the main reason we would stay, but our last visit was terrible. We will never stay there again.

Not the Ritz, but I can't afford it anway
By Amy, 10/19/06
We decided to do a weekend get-a-way and wanted to seen Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens. The combination of the Quarterpath Inn and Bush Gardens was perfect. The motel was everything we need at the price we wanted to pay. First of all, it is in the most convenient location. I was able to take my morning run into Colonial Williamsburg and around the College. I have stayed in hotels that were better appointed but none that were cleaner. I will be staying here when I return to Williamsburg. P.S. You have got to go to Busch Gardens to see what they can do. My boys (10 and 12) haven’t stopped talking about how much fun they had.

Never again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/22/06
We attempted to stay 2 nights at this place. We checked in, went to our room and realize the cleaning staff didnt finish cleaning the room. The furniture was turned upside down on the beds, the beds were pushed off their head boards, and the dresser was pushed into the middle of the floor. The vaacum was still in there and draped across one of the beds. There was trash all over the floor as well. We told the night manager and he gave us a queen size room. We get into there and the AC didnt work. We tell them about this and he gives us a king size suite. We get in there and realize the AC doesnt work there correctly, there as also a dehumidifier in the room because of this. We were so tired that all we wanted to do was sleep, so we were going to overlook this but as we crawl into bed we see that there were no pillow cases on the pillows and the pillows were stained yellow. Upon further inspection we realize the quilt on the bed has little blood stains all over it as well. At this point we went down the road to the Patrick Henry Inn and got a beautiful king size room for only 10 dollars more per night than the Quarterpath. Never again will I go there, never again.

LORD, BABY JESUS SAVE US!
By Bryan, 8/19/06
This hotel was a disaster. I am now a believer in the phrase "Price IS indicitive of quality!" Not being from the Williamsburg area, my partner and I decided to give it a shot. We had reservations for three nights, and after the first sleepless night, (thanks to a neighboring room's yappy dog, the offending pooch's parents being beligerant at midnight, and the Williamsburg Express Locomotive Engine making several passes throghout the night) we quickly became refugees to the Sleep Inn. THANK GOD FOR MAJOR HOTEL CHAINS! The bed at The Quarterpath was comparable to sleeping on cardboard mats, and the decor resembled a Home Interiors catalogue, circa 1968. The front desk also had my original reservation for two nights instead of three, so most likely, we would have been sleeping in the Rendevous our third night. I would highly suggest staying away from this hotel...

Williamsburg vacation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/1/06
My family and I stayed at this hotel for five nights this past month (july '06). It was an awesome value-priced at just $55 per night w/5th night free. We found the room to be neat, some aspects of it were outdated-nothing fancy about this place but everything was simple and clean. Housekeeping was very accomodating and all of the people at the front desk were very nice. The location is perfect-everything is just minutes away. We definitely would stay there again!!

Roach
By nancy, 7/29/06
OMG. The blankets and curtains were tacky. The bathroom was so small. The beds sqeaked from who knows what. Then when my sister was getting out the shower there it was a roach. Serioulsy!!!!!!!!!!!! When my aunt went to go check out a day before we planned, the staff did not even care they just said okay. I don't think they even did anything about it.
