Beautiful Week
By ,
I had a corner room which has a beautiful view of the city with all angles. There are five large windows in the room and I love sunlight. The room was spacious and layout was great! The bed was extremely comfortable and large.

Horrible Weekend
By ,
First the service is not near on par with a four star hotel. more like a motel six. They said cookies and milk for the kids. But I have never had such rood service when requesting something they offered and put as part of their package. The cookies were thrown in a baggie and they brought up chocolate milk. For the life of me I dont know who would eat cookies with chocolate milk. Second. Had to call hotel security 3 times for a drunk girl being locked out of her room by her company she was with. Security couldn't get her to shut up and stop kicking the door so I called the Richmond Police. By the way the whole floor was calling security. This started around 3 am and didnt stop untill 5:00 when the police showed up. third and the worst. The Valet wrecked my brand new truck. they ran it into a pole. I didn't notice till i got home. I filled a claim with the hotel. Was told they would investigate it. On the valet ticket they circled all parts of my car. I thought this meant that everything was fine. But the security manager says it means there is damage. I sent him pics of my truck from every angle. There is nothing wrong except where they ran into a pole. I literally picked up the truck right before we went to the hotel. They are still giving us problems about it. they admit that there are plenty of poles that it could have been hit by. but they are saying that it didn't happen there. Well if not there then were did it happen.

Be prepared for extra charges
By ,
The hotel staff were freindly, room was clean. The area is not one you would want to walk in after dark. Resturaunts in area close by 2:00 p.m.-don't plan on a late lunch. At the resturaunt across from the hotel we got in line for a table while they were still serving lunch and weren't seated until they were serving dinner. The hotel charges extra for everything-and be prepared to tip multiple people each day of your stay. It cost more to stay there then we expected-the room fee is only a small part of the total. The bed had the hardest mattress I've ever tried to sleep on. Spent our last night sleeping in the chair!

Never Stay here
By ,
NEVER STAY HERE - I had the worst hotel experience ever. The entire staff was very rude, the accommodations were very poor. It is definitely not worth the money and you will regret your decision to stay at this hotel. I know I did. I travel frequently and this stay was by far one of the worst experiences. If you want OLD, DIRTY and RUDE, this is your place.

Wonderful Stay
By ,
We stayed here on our way to Hilton Head from Boston. We were exhausted but the staff was wonderful, helpful, went above and beyond bringing cookies and milk to our room for free for our kids and extra towels without even asking. Beautiful lobby and bar, room was spotless and room service was good and came right when they said it would. would stop again in an instant.

nothing is free
By ,
The hotel was ok and clean, but the lobby was lacking, and they charged for everything extra. They did not have courtesy computer with internet access that many hotels have. Overall a slightly above average hotel, but not cheap! Parking alone was $20 extra a day!

Good location, comfortable hotel.
By ,
My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Omni Richmond. He stayed at the Omni for the preceding two nights, and we stayed there together after the reception. We were very pleased with our stay - the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, and very comfortable. Our guests who stayed in the hotel were also very please with the accomodations. Everyone seemed to feel that they had experienced the benefits of Richmond hospitality. The hotel is located close to several restaurants (including the Tobacco Company) and Shockoe Bottom shopping. There is an airport shuttle, and underground parking for a fee. We had some difficulties getting the bill for the reception correct - if you use the catering/banquet facilities, be sure to double check the charges they present you!! Overall, would definitely recommend the Omni Richmond to others for hotel stays.

A Must Stay!
By ,
I highly recommend the Omni Richmond. The people were great, service was wonderful, and the room was very nice. I have just recently started to stay at higher quality hotels, and this was a great experience! I am a young adult, and sometimes they do not treat you with as much respect, like you are a child, but that was not the case at all with the Omni. Only dislike was they needed more help up front, later at night. But that was minor to my overall experience. Once again, hats off to them... This is a must stay!

The best hotel for the money in Richmond.
By ,
The Omni and the Jefferson are by far the best hotels to stay at in Richmond. The staff at the omni is very friendly and courteous. The rooms are large and nicely appointed. Rooms are larger and just as nice if not nicer than at the Jefferson, for half the price. We have stayed at least a dozen times at the Omni and only once was I mildly disappointed. Sometimes the water pressure is low for showering and one time the pillow cases were queen size but the pillows were kings. Overall, this is our hotel of choice to stay at in Richmond.
