Wonderful Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/20/07
We stayed here on our way to Hilton Head from Boston. We were exhausted but the staff was wonderful, helpful, went above and beyond bringing cookies and milk to our room for free for our kids and extra towels without even asking. Beautiful lobby and bar, room was spotless and room service was good and came right when they said it would. would stop again in an instant.

nothing is free
By William, 05/25/06
The hotel was ok and clean, but the lobby was lacking, and they charged for everything extra. They did not have courtesy computer with internet access that many hotels have. Overall a slightly above average hotel, but not cheap! Parking alone was $20 extra a day!

Good location, comfortable hotel.
By AmandaK, 03/11/06
My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Omni Richmond. He stayed at the Omni for the preceding two nights, and we stayed there together after the reception. We were very pleased with our stay - the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, and very comfortable. Our guests who stayed in the hotel were also very please with the accomodations. Everyone seemed to feel that they had experienced the benefits of Richmond hospitality. The hotel is located close to several restaurants (including the Tobacco Company) and Shockoe Bottom shopping. There is an airport shuttle, and underground parking for a fee. We had some difficulties getting the bill for the reception correct - if you use the catering/banquet facilities, be sure to double check the charges they present you!! Overall, would definitely recommend the Omni Richmond to others for hotel stays.

A Must Stay!
By Taze, 02/27/06
I highly recommend the Omni Richmond. The people were great, service was wonderful, and the room was very nice. I have just recently started to stay at higher quality hotels, and this was a great experience! I am a young adult, and sometimes they do not treat you with as much respect, like you are a child, but that was not the case at all with the Omni. Only dislike was they needed more help up front, later at night. But that was minor to my overall experience. Once again, hats off to them... This is a must stay!

The best hotel for the money in Richmond.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/26/06
The Omni and the Jefferson are by far the best hotels to stay at in Richmond. The staff at the omni is very friendly and courteous. The rooms are large and nicely appointed. Rooms are larger and just as nice if not nicer than at the Jefferson, for half the price. We have stayed at least a dozen times at the Omni and only once was I mildly disappointed. Sometimes the water pressure is low for showering and one time the pillow cases were queen size but the pillows were kings. Overall, this is our hotel of choice to stay at in Richmond.

Best advice: Don't stay here!
By Dixie, 11/04/05
The front staff, location, and lobby of the hotel is the only positve attributes it has. The service of the restaurant was horrible. The servers looked as though they were picked up off the street. The food took too long to be prepared and was horrible to the taste. Room service was exactly the same. A hotel that boast about impeccable service should live up to that statement!

ALL THA WAY TO HEAVEN THA OMNI IS THE SPOT
By SWEET LIKE CANDAE, 11/01/05
WHOA, DRIVING FROM ATLANTA, MY BABE AND I STOPPED HERE TO REST FOR THE NIGHT. AS SOON AS YOU WALK IN THE LOBBY IT IS BREATHTAKING. THIS IS SURELY AN LUXUARY HOTEL AND AND MUST STAY. THE ROOM DECOR WAS BEAUTIFUL. TV CABLE, MUSIC MARBLE BATHROOM, TERRY BATH ROBES. THIS PLACE WAS BREATH TAKING. THE BED AND LINEN FELT LIKE HEAVEN. I DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE. THE RESTAURANT IN THE LOBBY WAS THE BEST. I HAD WHOLE GRAIN FRENCH TOAST...IT WAS GOOD AND ALL THAT. AND THE ROMANTIC SETTING IS A MUST. BEING IN THIS NICE PLACE MADE ME GO ALL OUT WITH MY BABE AND HAD HIM WANTING TO CLIMB THE WALLS. I JUST LOVE THIS HOTEL AND WILL BE STAYING THERE AGAIN IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Excellent place to stay
By Howie, 05/11/05
The staff at the Omni was first class, always very courteous and willing to help. The room was clean and everything in the room worked. All of the bars and taverns in the Shockoe Slip district are maybe a block away.
