BEST WESTERN Intown of Luray, Luray

Found a bed bug on my girlfriends’ pillow during our stay last November. She was bitten on her wrists, face and neck. Management did absolutely everything they could to make this as hard to deal with as possible. They told us our stay would be comped, gave us a printed invoice showing that we were credited the entire cost and then tried to recharge both nights of our stay. WORST HOTEL & MANAGEMENT WE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!

This is a good hotel, all things considered. The down side is that the hotel is old and has the look & smells that go along with it. The up side is the location, the people are great, and it's amenities are as good as can be expected. Being in a small town, there's not a lot of demand or revenue for much more than this type of hotel and I believe this hotel does as well as it can with what it has.

My husband and I stayed in this place in May 2007. Having stayed prior to May 2007 and knowing they allowed pets and we had acquired a Bichon since that time, I still searched "pet friendly hotels in Luray" and they came up. Our second day there, we got a nasty call from the service desk saying no pets allowed! They threatened to charge us $100 extra. They claimed they had a sign in the lobby - must have been small of sitting on the side. When my husband told them their webside said "pet friendly", they said the site was managed by a third party and they were not responsible for its contents!!! Because of the website, we only had to pay $40 instead of $100. My Bichon is groomed regularly and spotless and trained to a litter box, still I was made to feel like a criminal. They didn't have to be so nasty and charge us extra. They should have had their website updated to match their policy change. I won't go back.

I paid $90 to stay in a near vacant place on a Friday night, the priceline guy would have had a heart attack! Average service, average cleanliness and horrible value. Fair Breakfast in a smoke infested restaurant with lackluster service. No military rates either given here....Thanks alot.

Best value for the area. Very clean rooms and staff was friendly. Room was comfortable can cool. Close to everything. Doesn't look like much on the outside but better than the alternatives!

A nice place with good resturant food. People are really friendly. Room was clean and bed slept good.
