HOLIDAY INN REVIEW
By pete, 11/10/08
i paid like 95 dollars for a king bed and smoking room on a weekend. Room was kind of weathered. the tub had cigarette burns on it as if someone had placed their cig there for whatever reason. I only stayed one nite. Tv was small probally about 27 inch or 32 inch and channels were average. I guess a good place to stay for a nite of commuting but i would not have wanted to stay in my room for a few more days.

a NICE surprise
By Jen, 01/18/08
I wouldn't have normally chosen this hotel to stay at for a night, because a) it is exterior corridor and I tend to try to avoid those hotels if possible, and b) it looked a bit older in the photos. BUT, we were traveling with our pet dog and didn't have too many options. I have to say though, this hotel was a very nice surprise. Our room was clean and I felt very comfortable being there for the night. (and I can be pretty picky when it comes to hotel rooms!!) I would stay there when traveling in the area again!

Extremely clean and convenient
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/14/05
The facilities were extremely clean and well kept. The staff was very courteous, and eager to help if you required something. The rooms were comfortable, quiet, and relaxing.

Not too bad
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/05
Wasn't dirty, safer than other areas to stay in VA, thought the price was a little much since there is a Super 8 across the street. No continental breakfast, phones were broke.

Very nice for the $
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/20/05
Staff was very polite and helpful. Very nice looking hotel for the $. Bathrooms could have been cleaner but overall I would say it was nice. I would def stay there again. Location is right off 95, which is great. Not hard to get to at all. Best part was the staff..I've dealt with rude housekeepers and receptionists..everyone was 100% nice. Thanks!

Last resort
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/13/04
It was not that bad of a place. We should not have to ask for towles, but we did. there should be a road that leads to the light, making it easier to go to the interstate; it's a rather hard place to get out of. There really need to be a continental breakfast (eggs, bacon, biscuits, etc.) I would not stay here again for this reason alone. Even if it's not free, at least offer a buffet. the staff seemed a bit aggitated when asked to bring towls, soap, etc. I would stay here as a last resort. It was not dirty any nasty, the service could have been better.
