Days Inn Marina/Beachfront, Norfolk

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.I STAY THERE OFTEN AND ENJOY MY VISITS.ROOMS ARE A LITTLE OLD BUT IF YOU WANT HILTON'ISH ROOMS THEN GO STAY AT THE HILTON!BEACH WAS RIGHT OUTSIDE MY FRONT DOOR AND IS NOT EVER CROWDED.MY SON AND I STAYED THERE FOR NEY YEARS AND WE HAD THE BEACH POINT ALL TO OUR SELVES FOR SHOOTING OFF FIREWORKS.I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN AND AGAIN.

The room was not very well cleaned and there were not enough towels or soap or other amenities in the room you come to expect. The final straw was my check card was charged inappropriately after I paid cash from my room and the owners have not been willing to resolve the despute which includes overdraft charges to my account as a result of the unauthorized charge. I am force to file a claim in small claims court to obtain satisfaction. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

After travelling all the way from Ca all we wanted to do was relax in our hotel room. Imagine our surprise when we checked in, the place was dirty, stairwells were dirty, the room smelled terrible, the ceiling had a big piece of wood nailed up covering a hole, the bed linen was dirty and torn. Needless to say we left and found somewhere else to stay, not a good start to our vacation.I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Staff was nice room was clean. Cute little hotel for the off season. Paid less than 50 for the room and the desk gave us tons of extra towels. My son who is 2 loved the Merman statue.

The room was dirty. There were not enough towels for the three of us to each use 1. The manager was extremely rude. It is in a poor section of town and the private beach is within 500 ft of I68!! This is just the basic info. Much more was wrong with this hotel, we left and went somewhere else.
