It certainly hasn't gotten better over the years
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/16/11
Our car broke down and we came in with 4 kids and a dog and the kid behind the counter tells us he can't register us because they have a no pets policy. We are invited to "call around" to find another place. He says he doesn't have any number for a manager or anyone else in the Ramada chain. He calls the cops on us. After they straighten him out, he can't run a key card, and suddenly he has a number to call. There were no cars in the parking lot. I think I know why.

AWFUL is an understatement!
By Alisha, 1/28/07
The first room we received had a broken tub that was full of water. The next room had old chip bags and other debris on the desk and radiator. There was hair all over the bathroom. When we requested new towels we were treated horribly by the desk clerk. The hotel is not in the safest area and there is no lock or key in security on the exterior doors so anyone can walk in and out at anytime. We were thankful we were only booked for one night.

TWO THUMBS : WAY DOWN!!!!
By Blank, 6/26/05
There were so many things that was to up to standard with this Ramada Inn. 1.) I requested a NON-SMOKING room. I received a room that said non-smoking but, I could smell the stintch smoke all in the carpet. 2.) There was a chair in my room that looked like the bottom of a school desk that they filled over. This chair was nasty and flithy looking! 3.) The business desk was very wabbly. It appears that one of the legs was about to fall off. 4.) The rooms are located on the inside so you do not walk out into the elements when you open the door, BUT there is NO ELEVATOR!!! I was "lucky" (if you want to call it that) that I had a room on the first floor. My travelmates were on the second floor and were forced to lug all there luggage up the stairs. The frontdesk clerk offered to help all the while snicker! 5.) The bathtub spout in my guest room was not attacked to the walk. I could see the piping. If I could up load my photo here I would show you. 6.) The continential breakfast. I have seen better in a 2 dollar sleezy MOTEL! 7.) The neighborhood that surrounds this Ramada Inn, is "iffy" at best! The Ramada Inn is down the street from a rather "seedy looking" part of town. 8.) There is a Resturant/Bar/Lounge: I asked what time it closed. The guy behind the counter said 9PM/9:30PM. I asked if he was sure considering it was a Friday night. He was basically clueless. He also claimed to be the "Manager" but, he looked every bit if 18 years old! 9.) I checked out the following day after sleeping in my travel clothes. I walked up to the lobby and said "I'd like to check out." The guy at the front desk said that he couldn't print out our receipts because he didn't know how. I explained to him that I wasn't leaving without one, exspecially when we originally booked 7 nights in this "dive of a rat trap!". I asked him to call the guy that could on his cell phone. He called someone and they walked him thru printing out the receipts. I would NOT recommend this Ramada Inn to anyone! This is the last Ramada Inn I will ever stay at!

Worst Hotel EVER
By Kristopher, 6/6/05
I could go on forever with issues we had... The rooms overall were not that bad, ours was OK, others I saw a lot of bad fixes to old problems, looked really dumpy for the most part, the rooms were generally clean and I only say the location was "average" because it was close to town (and thats not necessarily a good thing) and really close to Quantico. We were there for a Marines wedding, but had big problems; first, the hotel went into wedding guests rooms and packed thier things into trash bags, left them in the hall and checked them out of thier rooms without thier knowledge, then thier excuse was "They needed the rooms for other guests", well, what about the guests who booked that room for the weekend? How ridiculous and unexcusable, the "MOD" was some 18yr old kid who had no idea what to do, so then we called the mgr in, when we spoke to the mgr, she rolled her eyes and made like we were giving her a hard time. She basically said they prioritized other guests and suggested they go somewhere else (this is all DURING the recpetion mind you). She eventually "found" a couple of rooms, but not after a major hassle. The reception caterer was HORRENDOUS, the catering mgr was rude and had a bad attitude, they had only him and 2 servers for 120 people. To top it off, the catering mgr approched the groom DURING DINNER and asked to him come and take care of the bill right then. He was shocked and could only say that the brides father was taking care of the bill. The catering mgr then approached him and did the same thing. The brides father angrily told him how innappropriate that was and to wait until the reception was over, and the guy got all huffy and nasty and demanded it be paid right then. The meat was terribly dry and tough, some of the bread they served with dinner was moldy and if anyone asked for anything the servers would just nod and walk away (good luck getting more moldy bread). Well, the reception ended at 9, and things were smooth for a while. People changed and relaxed a little, so at 10 we went to the hotel bar (which, coincidentally, is run by the caterer).. we had a few drinks and decided we were still hungry so we ordered a few pizzas. When it came, the bartender/cater told us we had to leave the bar, and they dont even serve food, so its not like we had a choice of buying fod from him! Altogether, this place was really bad. If you're in town (god knows why you would be, Triangle is a rundown hole in the world), splurge a little, theres plenty of good hotels in the close town of Manassis (lovely area) and its truly only 15 mintues away, well worth the commute if you need to stay near Quantico. (PS the only thing I recomend is the local pizza place, Patrinos II, great pizza!).. overall don't stay at the Radisson in Triangle VA, unless your a masochist.

Needs improvement
By Striperhound, 5/17/05
They were in the process of remodeling the motel but didn't tell us even though I talked directly to the motel. There were several light bulbs out in the room and it took literally hours for someone to replace them. The continental breakfast server didn't have the key so no coffee or other items from the restaurant. Poor customer service. The room smelled. The fitness center wasn't open. This place was allowed to become extremely run down before any remodeling was done. Maybe now it's better. Said they had inroom internet connection but didn't. They did have wireless internet connection in the lobby but it was under construction. Lobby person couldn't figure out how to give us our military discount without tax.
