Quality Inn and Conference Center, Brattleboro

my husband and i live in connecticut. we have stayed in this hotel a few times for quick and close getaways. we will continue to stay at this hotel. the staff is great, the rooms are clean. the price is great. it is not a 5 star hotel nor does it pretend to be.

My question is....people who wrote bad reviews....did we stay at the same hotel???? Our stay was wonderfull, the staff at the hotel was friendly and pleasant. They all went out of their way to help. The room was very clean and the housekeeping staff was great!! I would highly recommend the Ramada if your in the area and want a clean and affordable place to stay that has an indoor pool!

I paid $62. plus tax this past weekend for a single queen and asked for a quiet room. I was put on the first floor in the back near the back door which slammed hard late into the night. The back rooms also face the interstate so the traffic noise kept me up as well. By the time I'm in bed after a long hard day doing manual labor I was not about to get up to complain to change rooms. The breakfast was decaf coffee and mini (tiny) muffins and there was only 3 of them, those were there from the night before. This was at 6:30 a.m. There was no regular coffee. I thought perhaps I was too early so I returned at 8:30 to the lobby and there was no muffins and cold coffee. Stay at another hotel. Too bad though because the mexican restaurant there is very good with pleasant servers.

The hotel used to be a a Red Roof Inn and is disquised as a Ramada and the expensive price is not worth it. Our room was not cleaned all weekend the sheets and bed covers were not changed the worst pillows I have ever experienced in my life. Pool was disgusting looking. There was a huge fight out in the parking lot and Police and Ambulances had to come out. Yet the foreign Managers or owners did not even bat an eye at it. You are better off staying in Keene at the Super 8 definitely a cleaner place plus right across from a Chili's and Texas Road house. The Red Roof Ramada had an okay looking bar but with a really pricy menu. They had a big sign out in front that said Breakfast Buffet yet there was not even continental breakfast. This place was awful stay at the Hampton next door. Staff was a little strange and perhaps possibly illegal. I had to walk around little pools of blood to get to my car. The Brattleboro police was like watching the Spurbury Police in the movie Super Troopers when they arrived on the scene it took them more than an hour to figure out what happened and after wathcing one guy go to the hospital there were no arrests even made. You need to do more than put new wall paper on the walls in order to call yourselves a full service hotel because it was scary in Brattleboro, VT I felt safer in Compton, California.

Yikes! The place was filthy! Smelled like, well real bad. Garbage in room, the list is too long to go on.

My husband stayed here one night, they've now charged our credit card for a total of 8 nights, insisting that we are still staying there!! i've had to report them to the police as well as my credit card company!! this place is a rip off scam!

It was a great value for what you get! The staff was extreamly pleasent and helpful. Being able to afford a place with a indoor pool was wonderful because I was traveling with my kids. The rooms were good and not having to order out for food was a plus! I would definatly go back.

I stayed here for 2 nights on Feb 9 & 10 on business. usually stay at the Hampton but decided to try this place out to save my company some money. Rooms are comparable and I saved $50. Excellent Wi-Fi. I got 12 megs upstream. Talk about speed! Breakfast portions were quite generous next door at Tequila red's. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will stay here again next month.

We held a three day confernece this past November. The staff had trouble with the arrangements. I was checked into a room that had a dirty towel on the floor and clothes on the made bed - occupied? The hotel computer said no. One of my presenter was checked into a room with no shower curtain, a dirty toilet and when she reached for atowle the towle bar fell off. The first conference room for our Board meeting was not cleaned as the person in charge had not informed the staff that we would be using it that morning. The rest of the conference went very well with excellent service and food. The new restaurant has a great new manager and wonderful breakfast and dinner.

The hotel has changed so much! We've stayed several times over the years, and now they have a terrific staff that has upgraded everything, they're looking more and more like the Hampton next door! The sweet girl at the Front Desk told me that they are changing the entire exterior now that they've renovated the whole inside of the building, and soon they will be opening their new Mexican restaurant! The only sad part is to see the beautiful Indian decorations leave the dining area!
