Wonderful wedding weekend!
By Jenny Bourn, 9/8/11
Great wedding weekend! I just had my wedding at the Manor August 27th and it was fantastic. Yes, the weekend of the hurricane (but it didn't hit until Sunday). My guests started to arrive Thursday evening and stayed until Sunday/Monday. Everything was as I wanted/hoped from having the whole place to myself to putting up pictures, decorating, basically taking it over for my wedding weekend. Billy, the owner, was super helpful, taking all the responsibilities off of me by Friday evening, so I was able to enjoy myself without worrying about details. Family and friends played games on the lawn and swam in the pool all weekend, leaving just enough time before the wedding to run up to their rooms to get ready (so close to everything). We got married on site and were happy we did. No traveling necessary for most of my guests, plenty of fresh air, and amazing pictures. Had my flowers done by Juliet O'Neal and they were gorgeous. Great price and perfect, bright colors. Food was yummy, everyone commented on it, pies and ice cream were served for dessert and the DJ was really good as well. All of these things led to a wonderful wedding - everything I could've hoped for. Definitely recommend the Manor for your wedding - location, rooms, service, breakfast, pool, grounds - all of these things contributed to a great weekend.

A Most Treasured Tradition
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/24/05
We love stealing away to a quiet romantic weekend at this manor. We love to stay in the cabins across from the main Inn. They have real wood burning fireplaces, and hudge rooms. It is the perfect atomosphere to read, watch the snow fall and have intimate conversations you may have almost forgotten how to have. There is little if any TV which turned out to be the best part. Its a great opportunity to get back to the things that really matter. The setting is beautiful and it is our most treasured time away from all of the places we have traveled. If you need activity there is plenty of nightlife and shopping near. The Inn has horse back riding and cross country trails. It doesn't get much better.
