Chase Suite Htl Salt Lake City, Taichung City

Wow! Just came back from staying for two nights at the Chase. The room/hotel was definately old and must have had some things recently renovated. I liked the kitchenettes, but the beds were ROCK hard, and the bathroom and bathtub unclean. However, great location, friendly staff, but absolutely NO extras included. I recommend spending a little more for a softer bed, and cleanliness.

Chase suites is a good bet if you are in Salt Lake city for skiing etc but not on Business. They have pretty good rooms and the morning breakfast is something that is convenient and good, except that it lacks variety. There are a bunch of women employed for house keeping, most of them above 40. So they cannot lift their vaccum cleaners to your room and they hardly clean your carpet. Internet is pathetic and wired. There is only one port at the dining table. So if you are not looking for Internet, cleaning, kind of things but want to feel like home, then this is the place, else not.

Everything was kept clean. Nothing stolen. People were helpful and nice. Rooms were excellent for cooking in and providing a place to keep all your food. Living room and fire place was wonderful!

We have stayed at this hotel on several different occasions while our son was doctoring at the Primary Children's Medical Center. They have great medical rates, and they also have a shuttle service to and from the airport and the hospital. It worked great for us when we flew to Salt Lake City because we didn't have to rent a car. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We plan to stay there again when we are in Salt Lake City.

We were a little skeptical about this hotel after reading another review. SO I called and talked with Kristin in sales. She said it is an older property but if I did not find the quality I was looking for, they would comp a nights stay. Figuring I had nothing to lose, we booked the hotel for us and 3 other families for 5 nights. We stayed in the first floor, one bedroom rooms. The property was NICE and not run down at all. Everything was CLEAN. The only complaint I have is the BEDS were not confortable at all. When I called Kristin and told her, she said that there are some NEWER REMODELED rooms that have a pillow top bed and that they would with either move us or trade out our old bed for the newer pillowtop version. While they did not have bed availability for that 2nd night, for our 3rd, 4th and 5th nights we received the nicer bed...and what a difference that made!!! So, when you book your reservation, call and ask for Kristin in sales as she is FANTASTIC and tell her you want ONLY the pillow top mattress! All the staff was very helpful and attentive to whatever we asked of them. Breakfast was fine according to my husband as I always slept in. There was even a parking spot available right by our door each evening. Wild Oats grocery store was close by as was any place we needed to go downtown (we did have a rental car). We did not try the pool, etc. I say give this place a try. We will be back when in SLC!

i have been delighted with the Chase Suites in Salt Lake City on each of the three occasions I stayed there. It definitely does not seem like an old Mariott hotel! The suites are comfortable, well-appointed, and in tip-top condition, the grounds are beautiful, with well-cared-for trees and shrubs, and gorgeous flowers, and the service is excellent. I liked the fact that each suite has its own outside entrance, yet the entrances are tucked into little nooks, usually with a tree shading them, which makes this a quieter, prettier, more private place than many hotels. (There is plenty of light on the grounds, and security is good.) The suites have a terrific kitchenette, a nice vanity and bathroom, and comfortable beds. They are airy and very pleasant. There is high speed Internet access, but you have to go to the lobby to get it--a bit of an inconvenience. There is a manager's reception every evening, with free wine or beer, and enough food to make a light supper--although with a grocery store handy and lots of restaurants about, you have easy access to something more substantial. Breakfast is free, too, and it's not just a continental breakfast. The food is not smashing, but it's okay. The service, though, is truly exceptional. Every staff member there is friendly and will bend over backwards to please guests. They greet you like they're sincerely happy to see you. Once, I was in Salt Lake for eye surgery. The hotel shuttle took me right to the hospital and picked me up just when I needed them to. I hadn't been able to eat breakfast before surgery and wasn't up to cooking or going anywhere. Though breakfast was over, the staff fixed me breakfast and carried it right to my suite. I have recommended this hotel to friends, and they'be been very happy with it. I highly recommend it to you, too!
