Loved It!! Great Value!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/13/07
We stayed here because of the low rates. I was very surprised. The decor was older but the place was very clean. The service from the staff was excellent and it was just a very comfortable and kid friendly place. The indoor pool was fantastic. Nicely heated and extra towels were provived. It is close to the freeway but did not really hear any freeway noise. There is a bar right next to the hotel that I was a little worried about but it turned out fine. There was an incident with a gentleman one night from the bar that was staying at the hotel in the room right next to mine. The staff handled it wonderfuly and peacefully. I never would have known anything was going on if I had not left my room to get some ice. I am very impressed with this hotel for the value and will continue to stay here every time I visit the area.

Kinda like Disneyland
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/15/07
I really enjoyed the place. It was a wonderful experience starting with finding the place. Like a scavenger hunt, you got to call over and over and they would give you one clue at a time and when you arrive, trust me you are so tired from the wonderful game that it is time to go to bed, but they keep you at the desk for awhile holding off the suprise to behold in the room. (Those sneaky guys)Our feet hurt like crazy from standing with anticipation as the asked us all of the comforting questions in that little room about where we came from and what our intentions were and if we had our birth certificates etc. It was fun like a movie or something. They finally let us into the room, but it wasnt the room we reserved, they said it was a speacial room for people like us. We were so impressed that they would reserve the room for us especially. No wonder so many questions. Our room was so secure that the only door was in the back away from everyone else facing the freeway so we could as they said it, "be lulled to sleep with the serenity of the relaxing sound of freeway traffic." THey said it was a lot like being next to the beach listening to the breaking waves and they were right especially when the jake breaks from trucks roared by sounding like a mistical sea creature on a magical island. It was very exciting. Then they said we could listen to all the free radio that we wanted because it never shut off for our convienince and since the latest reports show that TV's cause cancer, (how thoughtful), they had removed the TV from the room to assure us that our saftey was first and formost. Also as a saftey caution, they taught us how to pull the pin on the fumigator whenever we left for the day so that our room would be bug free. It was an amazing arouma and made our heads feel so clear that we could sleep incredibly well despite the headaches we continued to get most likely from the food. THe local resteraunts ar not very good. We also were told that since the pool was being cleaned we could have access to the big pipe wrench that allowed us to open the hydrant. It was like the movies on a hot day in New York when the kids open the hydrant and run around. Thats exactly what we did. It was great!

Toenail Nightmare...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/15/07
How do you think I felt when I pulled down the sheets to sleep, slid my tired body into the bed, and then noticed there was something sharp poking my feet??? The source: A treasure trove of scattered, yellow toe clippings from some neanderthal who left them in the bed!!! I thought they were supposed to always change the sheets after someone leaves!!! That about says it all, doesn't it? Now let's get sealed folks...

Beware!!!
By Alison, 07/08/06
We called this hotel twice (a second time to confirm) to cancel our reservations within the allotted time yet they still charged us. When we saw the charge on our bill three weeks later we called them about the mistake. The manager of this hotel would not reimburse us unless we had the cancellation number which of course I didn’t have. They would not budge. They said unless I had a the number they would not reimburse me. So we are being charged $84.75 for their mistake! We have enjoyed other Comfort Inns but I would avoid this one if at all possible!

Great place to stay
By Paula, 07/07/06
I had never stayed at a Comfort Inn before and was leary before we arrived. The hotel was great for the money. The beds were comfortable, rooms were very clean and the staff was nice and friendly. We stayed at a Days Inn on the way home - which made me appreciate this hotel all the more. I will stay here again.
