This place is not worth the money they charge. The rooms were horrible. Old...Room service was horrible. Called down and asked for a can opener and they told me I would have to go to the kitchen myself and get it!! UNbelievable.

The only thing i would suggest to you guys is making sure you book it online at SweetHotelDeals. N e t I did a bunch of searching for hotel prices, and that site seems to have the lowest prices all around

this is the worst hotel i ever stayed in.I was discrimated against and force out at five o`clock in the morning.It seem like a scene from the 1950s.

Very pretty hotel

The people at the front desk were kinda snobby but I kind of expected them too be. We were on the 16th floor. It had a great view of the city. Their normal room's are small. I suggest getting an upgrade. Food was great. Pool was closed. Hot tub was open. I dislike the fact that you CAN'T smoke ANYWHERE in the hotel. Not even in the pool area, which is outside.

Great Hotel

My girlfriend and I stay there whenever I'm in town and we need a quiet romantic getaway. The staff are polite and friendly and rooms are clean. The beds are so comfortable that I'm unconscious in no time. As for the rooftop pool and the view, WOW.

I attended a office party at the Renaissance and it was amazing. From the room we stayed in to the service we received in the banquet room, everything was top notch.

OMG...not good...

Well my father used to work there and I thought that maybe the room he went to was just a bad room, but when I got there it was...well let me describe it. I walked in and there was a funny smell and i thought that maybe the maid was just here, its cool. I went to the bathroom after i dropped my things on the bed and a tile fell. I looked and there was a lot of mold growing under it. So what he said was true, that mold was under the wallpaper and tile. Not going there again.

we can't wait to go back

I really enjoyed staying at the renaissance when hurricane ike came into louisana. I felt safe there and the management were just awesome. Everyone there fell in love with our weiner dogs and they too had a blast. The fountain out front at night is just totally awesome.Made a lot of friends including the staff. take care and keep up the good work

CONSISTANTLY FABULOUS!!!

We stay here every year for our Annual Mary Kay Seminar! Service is superb! They deliver our bags to our room, have lemonade in the lobby and go out of their way to accomodate us! They schedule Shuttles, arrange for Pizza delivery....pretty much anything we want. The only thing I would suggest is larger portions in the restaurant. I come from a large family so I like to eat larger meals- but that's just me. Rooms are always clean and they change the sheets daily if you ask - unlike other hotels. I love the oversized red heart lounge chair - it's really comfy. The slide out drawers under the sink and full size closet make it easy to keep everything organized when you're sharing a room - as we often do. The ball room where we have our awards ceremonies are large and comfy and there's still plenty of room to kick it up on the dance floor. We love this place and my National Director wouldn't dream of changing locations! I'm looking forward to staying there again this July at Seminar 2009!!!
