Who needs the necessities if you have the luxuries

I stayed two nights there Sept. 12 and 13 to attend a conference at the Museum of Fine Arts of Houston next door. I used to stay at the Warwick until the interim between them and ZaZa. There is a saying: "who needs the necessities if you have the luxuries." Well is you are a beautiful 20-something fashion model whose pictures were all over the place, I suppose it is fine. But I am an 84-year old (maybe not the kind of individual you are trying to attract) and found luxuries (a see-through glass sink) I don't need, but no mirror in the bedroom or anything to hold onto in the tub.Fortunately I have good balance.Furthermore whoever designed the tub should have their head examined. The fixed glass partition on the side of the tap, makes it impossible to turn it on, placing the stopper in the tub, or turning it to shower without climbing in and getting wet before you re ready, or scalded if the temperature isn't right. The round magnifying mirror in the corner of the sink is impossible to reach and when you do, its magnifying scale makes it impossible to use. The beds are comfortable, but please, put a mirror in the bedroom. Somehow it should be part of the wall where there is a giant flat TV screen. Mirrors instead of so many pictures of wan fashion models floating in the breeze would have been better. Or do you not wish to attract active 84-year olds. My young colleagues who shared a room there had a shower but not even a tub and they would have loved one. You may give the impression of great luxury at overrated prices, but some comforts are really missing. ZaZa has great convenience of location going for it. I got tired of the Medical Plaza Hilton between the Warwick and ZaZa. I plan on coming back next time I go to the MFAH but I want a mirror in the bedroom and a tub with a tap I can reach without having to climb into it before I am ready to.
