Oak Hills Medical Center Hotel, San Antonio

this place was horrible. 1950's motel furniture. Lights didnt work in the room, no cable, no internet. Door didnt work, had to get the staff to open the door only to find out the ac didnt work at all. They put us in another room which was extremely hot. Turn the ac on and opened the window to see the most disgusting pool in my life. It was green, black just ridiculously dirty. This hotel has no business being opened. When we walked in to check in the staff was asleep. Service was horrible. I'd rather sleep in my car then in this hotel. Never again. Beds and couch was very uncomfortable. Even the lights on th 2nd floor were not working. Talk about being scary. I thought i was in an 80's scary movie! This place needs to be shut down. Safety is definitely a huge issue here.......

This is the worst motel we have ever stayed at. The pool was green, TV did not work, room was dirty and smelled. We left immediately!!!! Do Not Stay at this Motel. We were in San Antonio for my sons surgery and a couple of nurses told us that even when the Spurs are in the playoffs and all the motel are full, this motel will not be. Extremely dirty and smelling.

There is no breakfast,no copying,no shuttle service,no laundry service,no complementary newspaper,no ATM, no concierge, and no internet in the rooms.There is one ice machine for the whole building on the 4th floor. The rooms do have mold and bugs. The pool area is a disaster. The staff is rude and really does not want anyone staying there.The entire area is very noisy. It is across from a fire station and hospital construction.The bats are bad. The beds are very uncomfortable.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this placw at all. I'll start with the room. It smelled musty was clean, but really old. Beds were really uncomfortable. We had reservations for a kind bed and upon arrival asked for the top floor and ended up with 2 double beds, but were not asked if that's what we wanted. dinner was good, but resteraunt was dirty. Went swimming that evening to find out that the water in the pool was salt water, but no sign to tell us that. Was kept up all night by someone walking up and down the hallway. Was woke up at 8:00 the next morning by made service asking if we were checking out that day and then 10 minutes later by the maid to clean our room. Went down to check out but had to use the stairs because no one told us that the elevator was being worked on. The breakfast in the morning was not good. Found out upon arrival that we couldn't get the discount because we made our reservation on line. The manager tried to fix the problem by offering to give us another stay at discount. No worth the 90.00 dollars we paid. cable t.v. only had 25 channels. had to ask for a t.v. listing guide there were none in the rooms. will never stay there again. sofa bed was not comfortable. no internet connection.

To start off with we booked with expedia. When we arrived they told us expedia can promise anything but the hotel can do what they want. We traveled with 9 year old girl scouts and wanted inside rooms. What we got was rooms split up all over the hotel and was outside all but 1. When we tried to talk to them they were very rude and didnt care what we needed or wanted.Then we went down for breakfast boy was that a joke and the waitress was very rude also. We were told there were coffee pots in the rooms. There wasn't anything but hair dryer and all of us didn't even have those. We will never stay in this hotel again

The room was clean, the staff was helpful enough, and the price was reasonable. It's not the Four Seasons, but doesn't pretend to be. Overall, it was a perfectly decent place to stay.

If your a family of 6 and you need a good place to stay this is great. It might not be a 4 star but great for the money.

The first room they gave us was deplorable: black mold on walls, moldy smell, 1950's motel furniture, nasty carpet, stained linen and hole in the wall. We requested another room the attendant was irritated that we complained. The second room was not any better. We tried to get money back to no avail. Was forced to stay for 5 uncomfortable nights since we prepaid hrough a travel site. Could not sleep well at night, itchy linen. Breakfast was even worst. Not worth what we paid, I have stayed at better places for less. This is no 3 star HOTEL it's more like a run-down MOTEL that needs to be put out of business and torn down.

we booked a suite. the walls were nasty, the carpets were stained and looked filthy, we had uninvited guests crawling on the walls and around the microwave and refrigerator. the air conditions never got cold. it wasnt a very clean and refreshing feeling when we walked in. regardless, we were able to find a nicer hotel the next day being it memorial weekend. we wont be visiting this place again.

Nothing good to say. Deplorable conditions, was rated as 3 stars when it didn't even amount to half a star. Outdoor hotel, more like motel 6. Stains on sheets as if it never been washed, no coffee makers even included eventhough it supposed to be included. Employees were very rude and aggressive, also drinking while working. The hotel refuses to give me my money back and they've been giving us the runaround since day one. The person who is in charge is apparently always out of town or sick. It was the worst experience of my life and I'm still dealing with getting my money back. I am taking legal action against them. Its better to stay at a roach motel then this one.
