La Quinta Inn & Suites Arlington North 6 Flags Dr, Arlington

We stayed Jan. 4-6 for the Cotton Bowl. Staff went out of their way to help with any concerns or get you where you need to be. The free shuttle is a added bonus. Thanks! If we are ever in the area again we'll see you!

The female staff were friendly and helpful, one was trying to work the bar area and do check ins at the same time. the male at front desk didn't seem like he was too happy with his job.. The room was very comfortable. I want one of those pillows at my house.lol. the pull out bed uncomfy though. Could hear kids running thru the halls at late hours. the night we checked in, was so looking forward to swimming but that didn't happen (either of our two nights) was so very crowded and lots of rough housing going on. For the breakfast you have to get there early because it gets crowded and not very pretty when you have a whole bunch of hungry people in one space. It was just a short walk to Six Flags, shuttle available. I feel like I paid a little much for what we got. I would probably return depending on rates at the time I book and if I don't care if I swim or not. lol. The comfy bed is enough to make me recommend this hotel.

La Quinta Inn on Watson Rd, Arlington, TX. This hotel is in a very nice location, it is easy to get around from this location and was just what we needed for a graduation ceremony in the city. We stayed for three nights, had two events in the city and managed around the city very well. The folks that work here are very friendly and helpful. They offer a complimentary shuttle to just about everywhere around the hotel. The room was clean, short on towels for our family, but they did provide more. The beds are very comfortable, three pillows on each, which is very nice and provides you all the more comfort. The breakfast is the biggest of the continental breakfasts I have seen at La Quinta's or elsewhere. It was a very nice set up and very filling. The laundry facility on the 6th floor needs more air, a couple loads and the whole room is steamed up, we had to prop the door open to air it out. The only real trouble we had at this location was the night a sports team had come into town they charged us an additional $50 for our last night. It was the worst night at the hotel, people were running around drunk throughout the night, kids were running the halls and elevators and even taking their clothes off as the night went on. There was screaming, and shouting, banging and all sorts of noise. The little restaurant in the lobby closed down early and was only serving alcohol, so when we got back from our outing we found we had to go elsewhere to get a bite to eat. We are supposed to get a refund for the extra we paid for the night, but haven't seen it yet, it may come within the week. I do believe this location charges a bit more for the rooms than others but in the area it is in, I guess that is expected. It is a very nice stay, just watch out for those sports teams.

Located at the doorstep of Six Flags over Texas...this Inn is by far, the BEST our family has EVER stayed at. When trying to book a room online, I was quoted a price of $123.00 for a double room. I decided not to book online and just showed up. The Inn offers discounts for AAA, AARP,Sams Club members & others. They also offered us a discount because my husband is a trucker and has a CDL. We were able to get our double room for $73.00 (including tax). We are a family of 5 (two adults & 3 kids). The hotel allows pets (free of charge/no deposit). They also offer a free continental breakfast, very reasonable room service (menu listed below), laundry service, workout room, bar & grill, meeting/computer/conference rooms, pool, free shuttle service to & from Six Flags & so much more. The rooms are spotless & up-to-date. The kind of rooms that make you say, "WOW! This is nice!". Each room offers a mini frig, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer, closet, desk, free wired high-speed internet, shower/tub combo, etc. They offer the following tv channels: KXTX (SPAN), CNBC, FOX, NBC, HBO, ESPNCL, ABC, KDFI, ESPN, CBS, CW, PBS, CNN, CNN HL, Disney, WTBS, A&E, Disc, TNT, Weather, ESPN2, USA, Cartoon, ESPNW & FOX N. I'm leaving this review because I am truely impressed with this Inn. Not only because of it's location but also because of it's cleaniness, amenities & friendly staff. I stayed there and it was what I expected. A nice hotel with kind staff.

The location was fantastic but when we arrived, they had neglected to reserve the 2 rooms we requested so they crammed 7 of us into one room with 2 double beds. They gave us a blow up bed which made the room impossible to move around in. They also quoted a price on Monday and when we checked in, it was much higher. This has been my last stay with LaQuinta and I will never recommend them. I do not believe we were the only ones with bad experiences, guest were grumbling at the elevators about their experiences also. Instead of having a nice 2 day visit, we were inconvenienced and worn out when we left. Sharing a bathroom with 7 people is not a fun experience, I could have stayed at Motel 6 for that type of experience if I wanted.

When we got to our room, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned very well but I contacted the front desk and we were moved to a new room. Very close to attractions, they carried us to the ballpark and Wal-Mart. Breakfast was great. The best part was the pool, hot tub and kids splash park. Even my 13 month old son liked it! They also have poolside service for drinks and appetizers. Service there was a little slow but all together it's a very nice hotel for the price! We'd definately stay at this hotel again.

This was a nice hotel and was in a great spot next to six flags and had pretty good breakfast but the people up there were just not on top of everything, for one we got locked out of our room then the AC and Fridge was broke so they called us at 1AM and told us we could move to a diff. location because the maintanance couldnt get to it in time well then they double charged me and it was just no good.... i was in the new hotel as well not the old one!

Last summer, we stayed here on our vacation. We are coming back this year and staying again. Love the breakfast. Only drawback was the pool closed so early.
