Very Classy Place
By steph b, 02/11/08
I loved the decor, the colors, candles, and art all make for a very contemporary upscale experience. This is a small hotel, but what it lacks in size it makes up for with its class.

Wonderful Everything
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/20/07
Stayed in the hotel May 11th wknd. And it was 2 weeks after it was opened. The staff were exceptional, as were the rooms and location. Everyone was extremely friendly and helped us locate some restaurants that were open since we arrived at 1am. The whole ambiance of the hotel was wonderful. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Not a problem
By Dean, 03/24/06
I had no problems with the staff or room or parking. I've been to this hotel 4 different times and ever time it is just fine. I like staying here because of where it is located. It is within walking of a lot of places to have fun i.e. City streets (multi dance floor night club,) 8.0 (martini's on the patio,) Razzoo's (cajun dinning,) and tons of bar, pubs, billards and only two blocks from the movie theather. So if you are looking to have a good time and don't want to have to worry about drinking and driving then this place is the place for you because everything is within walking distance. Have fun, I know I will. I'm going back this weekend and going to six flags.

nice stay, good price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/18/05
We spent a week here and, while it's not a 5-star hotel, the rooms were clean, the staff was helpful, location/price was perfect and we had no problem finding parking for our small sedan. We would choose this hotel again.

Disappointing !!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/01/05
We stayed a week while attending the Cliburn Competition last week. The location was perfect. As for the rest ... Day One: There was no electricity in the morning - had to shower in pitch black. Day Two: Had to report a leak in the john - sprayed water all over the place when flushed. The final day -- awakened at 3:00 a.m. by deafening sirens and alarms - ("Please exit the hotel immediately, do not use the elevators"). Stood on the street til 4:00 a.m. while firefighters determined someone had emptied a fire extinguisher, setting off the alarm. The clerk said it was a new alarm system, which was "really sensitive". Other than a "breakfast plate", the "restaurant" was never open. The "bar" was never open, because, according to the clerk, "nobody ever used it". The rooms were cleaned daily, the staff tried... Not the greatest experience staying here.

No problems. Decent room. Great price for the location. They even let me extend my check out time.
