Very close to Lackland AFB

We attend our son’s BMT Graduation wanted something close to the base. Rooms were clean, great staff, rates are fair for the area and location was near 90 and 410. Planning on future visits to Lackland and we will stay here again.

Perfect for BMT graduation

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped me find transportation to the AFB and all around San Antonio. There were a lot of choices for breakfast, including make your own waffles. The lobby was a great place to meet other people going to the graduation. My room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I'd stay here again.

The price of the room on the internet, was $69.00. When I registered at the hotel and showed my information, I was asked to initial the form. When I checked out the next morning, the rate for the room had gone to $119.00!!! I explained to the clerk, showed my internet registration form, She, was very rude! Said she didn't care! The $119.00 was what I would be charged on my credit card!! I am a 75 year old Senior! I was devestated!!! I will never stay at another La Quinta Hotel, the room was not that nice!! Parking was horrible!! The bath tub was dirty! And, so were the floors!

Perfect for Air Force BMT

While this may not have been the "fanciest" hotel in town, it was certainly perfect for our visit this past week/weekend to attend our son's Air Force BMT Graduation at Lackland AFB. The staff was beyond helpful and gracious. The 2nd day there, the light in our bathroom went out. We mentioned it to the front desk staff that morning when we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast (good selection and very fresh!). By the time we returned later that afternoon, the light was replaced and working fine. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only downside is that the interior section of the bathroom where the shower and toilet are is very small - but you can deal with it for a few days. Overall, a good experience and we'll probably stay here again in 3 months when our other son graduates.

Lackland BMT Graduation

We stayed at La Quinta Lackland for our son's graduation from basic training at Lackland AFB. The room was very nice, well kept and well cleaned. We thought the set up of the room was very homey. I liked the wood floor in the bathroom area. The nearness to the base was a plus. We recommend this hotel to parents of future graduations from Lackland AFB.

Very clean. Very nice staff. They have just finished updateing. Nice indoor heated pool and hot tub. Complimentary breakfast was a plus. Very nice overall.

First Stay & Last

We were in town to attend our grand-daughter's graduation at Lackland. Nothing good to say about this place. No exhaust fan in bathroom. When air conditioner came on it sounded like a freight train coming through the window. Stains in carpet. Bath tub would not drain. Cockroaches galore. Security latch on door broken. Potholes in asphault parking lot. Beds are double and not queen. Old and in need of repairs. Very small rooms for the price. We are not hard to please but this place is ridiculous. Maids did not empty waste baskets.

i loved everything about this hotel u just need to have more fun around the kids that r in rotc cuz we like to have fun and want to see that u r having fun with us too and have a lot more cute guys next time for the girls cuz there was like no guys working the last time we want down that is about it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perfect for BMT Graduation

I had a great experience at this hotel. It was great for someone new to the area. I came for my son's graduation and this was the perfect place to stay. Very very close to the base. Since it is so close I got to spend more time with my son rather than driving everyday to the base. My room was clean and quiet. I had no complaints with my stay at all.

If you want to be near Lackland . .

I was visiting my friend at Lackland and this motel is literally right across the street. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. The exterior is run down but my room was clean and well kept. The bathroom is very small and a little short for taller people. Free wifi in the room was great. Breakfast was standard motel food with the bonus of fresh waffles and the staff kept it well stocked. It is right next to the highway with several places to eat on the other side of the highway. I would stay again simply for the proximity to Lackland AFB/Willford Hall; you can't get much closer.
