They missed out!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/11/10
I just on Laredo as a new territory and stayed here. BAD MISTAKE! I was put in a handicap room because it was the only room left with a single bed left. No big deal. It took at least ten attempts for my card to work on the door to get in. No big deal either. Later in the evening when I went to watch some TV, it was broke. I am not a big TV person, so I let it go and went to bed. A handi cap bathroom has two drains, one in the shower, and one in the middle of the bathroom floor. Whan I finished my shower, my bathroom was flooded with soap and drainage 2 inches deep. THIS IS A BIG DEAL. I had to walk through sewage to get out of the bathroom, then throw towels down just to get back in to shave. When I checked out I asked the lady for some partial compensation and her reply was to take it up with EXPEDIA. They called on my behalf and my request was refused by Holiday Inn. My schedule now calls for me to be in Laredo at least 10 times a year and you can bet I won't ever step foot in this or any other Holiday Inn again. EXPEDIA however stepped up and gave me a $50.00 credit. Way to go expedia. THUMBS DOWN for HOLIDAY INN.

I only want things to get better..
By Jaime, 1/9/07
I have stayed in Laredo many many times due to my work. I often stay for a week at a time. I also tend to stay at other Holiday Inns anywhere else I go. I am usually satisfied with thier service. Lately at the Holiday Inn in Laredo, the past 4-5 times that I have stayed there in the past 2-3 months the service has not been up to par.Just tonight as I was checking in, I had reservations thru Priority Club, the two guys at the front desk didnt attend to me, instead they looked at each other and gave each other gestures like, you get him, no you get him....its just rediculous. My bills when I check out have been wrong at least 3 times in the last 2 months, so much for a quick check out that Priority Club promises. I am also a gold club member and am supposed to have a newspaper delivered at my door in the mornings, that has not happened in months. The elevators are always broken or not working properly, I was stuck in one for an hour and the only way they could get me out was by sliding a ladder down from the top of the elevator so I could climb out. On one trip I forgot my toothpaste, I requested some toothpaste and never got it..I called twice that night and both times the guys at the front desk assured me it was on its way, it never came. I only complain about these things because these are things that I get at other Holiday Inns and do not seem to get here at the Holiday Inn in Laredo,TX. In the past few months the service is getting worse and I am now considering staying at another hotel from now on, Embassy Suites has always treated me well in the past..

Good Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/5/06
Since the check inn to the check out, I felt they have a good service. I had a very good night at the bar, they had live music. What I think needs to be changed is the furniture on the rooms since they are kind of old.

Very Impressed!!
By AnnaBelle, 6/7/05
For the room rates in Laredo...I was a little skeptical about staying here. I usually stay at a much more expensive place (La Posada) because I want to make sure I get a good room. Hotels in Laredo tend to be old. I had to make an unplanned trip to Laredo this weekend and had to find a hotel at the last minute. Since I was tired and not in the mood to search (my usual place was booked)...I stopped by the Holiday Inn. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I was very happy with the quality and service. The price was much cheaper than the other hotels in the area, without having to sacrifice comfort and service. I definitely recommend this hotel...I will stay here again!
