Days Inn East Amarillo, Amarillo

I stayed here 1-26-10 ...I read reviews saying they were clean and beds were comfortable. And it was. Clean, comfortable, nice free breakfast , free internet, and it was easy to use and log on to. ;And if you don't like the breakfast they serve they are right next door to I-HOP. My room had good heating and I would stay again. Also I got my reservation on priceline.com and it was a breeze to check in. No Problems.

I am retired and have asthma. This was a nice place to stay. Very little dust. I felt comfortable.

The location was ok, close to the freeway, but needs to have better insulation from the semi-trucks on the highway. We stayed on the 2nd fl. facing the freeway. Noisy air-conditioner. The sink and toilet were cracked, but didn't leak. Needs some new fixtures badly. The service staff was friendly and the room was clean. Room somewhat small. Breakfast was good. Would I stay there again? Not sure. Appreciated pets being welcomed. It is a heavily traveled interstate and most of Amarillos rooms are WELL WORN. Nice City, nice people.

We were in Amarillo for five days and Days Inn was great. The room was clean, the staff was helpful and the hotel was in a great location for us. Great for us too that rooms come with a mini fridge and microwave since we were there so many days. Also had a coffee pot. Our room was cleaned everyday and replinished with new towles, soap, etc. They also had a laundry area which was a life saver. Amarillo was fun, we had never been there before and we had a wonderful time. If you have a chance you must go to Canyon to see Paladuro Canyon - beautiful! Overall our stay at Days Inn was well worth what we paid. I would stay there again in a heart beat!

Traveling into a new sales area, I didn't know where to stay. Days Inn provides good quality at a great price. The rooms were clean and the hot breakfast was a plus. With the new high speed web access, I had everything I needed. Business travelers looking to cut expenses but do not want to sacrifice on quality or safety, this is the place to stay.
