I can't write a bad enough review of this place...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/24/08
This hotel is as bad as the other reviewers say it is. (or at least it was on April 11, 2008) We had a group with six rooms, and all six had major problems, from two rooms having spiders in them (yes, full-grown spiders) to one room having a car air freshener hanging off the air conditioner (I guess to try to mask the smell) to four of the rooms having mildewed showers to stained sheets to dirty towels to burned-out light bulbs. And that is only what was inside the rooms. The ice machines have to be seen to be believed, and I don't mean that in a good way. The entire property just appears to be in a state of filth and disrepair. I will never stay in this dump again, and I can't emphasize strongly enough that you shouldn't either until MAJOR changes are made. This was a poor, poor, poor experience for our entire group.

Home away from home!
By KimR, 10/16/06
Friendly, courteous service. Fast check-in and check-out because I reserved and paid for my room in advance online. Room was spacious for 3 adults, very clean, even smelled good! We've stayed here 3 times in 2 yrs. and never a problem. Quiet. Very convenient to walk to Tex-Mex restaurent on premises, eat a good meal, and walk back to our room, and relax in front of the tv after a tiring day. Or there's a Texas bar with variety of live music for night life. This motel is the best value I've found in the area for under $100. a nite.

A Dump!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/06/06
There was nothing great about my stay this weekend Aug.5-6,2006. The hotel was out right nasty and unclean for the amount of money you pay approx.$77. I should have known from the dingy look it had outside nothing like the rooms showed on-line. The room smelt like old mold, bed sheet's were heavily stained and also the towels I had to request new ones and also make the bed myself after I sprayed the room down with Lysol. The smoke detector was hanging off the wall without a battery in it. I asked for a late check out and was told at the most I could check out was at 11:30 instead of 11:oo. The pool was a green swamp nothing close to the picture on line. To sum it up looks can be very deceiving. The grass was also uncut. I recommend the health dept.check them out but please don't think this is a nice clean hotel for your self are family to stay not even one night.

You'd be better off sleeping in your car.
By RichardK, 10/03/05
Just stayed in Room 101 over the weekend for the Texas Renassaince Festival. HALF of the light bulbs were burned out. The room was advertised that it had a King Bed and SOFA. But no sofa. No big deal unless you needed it for your child to sleep on. No roll aways were available as a replacement. We brought our bathing suits because they also advertised having a swimming pool. But no, it was full of leaves, furniture put away, complete with a lock on the gate even though the temperatures are still in the 90's every day. They will charge your credit card 1 day early and then try to tell you in the lobby when you check in that your card has not been charged yet. The water is brown, but if you let it run for a few minutes it will clear up to a light yellow. Probably the most run down place I have ever stayed at in my life. Save your money and find a roadside park and catch a few Z's in your car.
