Filthy Dive!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/11/09
I went to check in for a 2 night reservation. The ck in lobby was filthy, and doubles as the hotel's (free) breakfast room. I got my room key, and upon entering notices the partially broken door jamb (attempt to pry the door open?). Paint all around the door was chipped. Drapes inadequate and uneven. Small microwave looked partially melted, old food spattered on the inside.. Cockroaches on the floor beneath bathroom sink. Mosquitoes in the room. Dingy dark room. I bailed and told the gal at the desk that the room was unacceptable, that we wouldnt be staying there. She said she "would still have to charge me two full nights stay", unless I had a cancellation number from the 800# for the chain. Well, I immed called the 800# and got a cancellation number. But THIS hotel franchise operator still refused to reverse the charges. I appealed to my CC co and they are rectifying the matter. In a word, avoid this place like the plague. Much nicer hotels of I-40 close by. This place shouild be condemned by the health dept.

WORST EVER!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/09/07
The billboard down the street boasts "newly renovated". If throwing paint on walls and leaving paint spatter on everything else is renovated, then I guess they're telling the truth. Here is what we found: -a 1/4-1/2 inch crack under the door. -no door knob inside the bathroom door -cracked, stained, dirty bathtub -ROACHES!!! -old dirty furniture sitting outside -a rusted shopping cart full of trash sitting under the stairs outside -the continental breakfast is a joke (We ate out for fear of eating anything from there!) -smelled horrible! -no internet connection as it advertises -$50 a night to live in squalor. We did take showers, but wouldn't sit in the bathtub for baths. Since all area hotels were booked, we couldn't change locations. We will never stay in another America's Best (it should say Worst) Value Inn again!!!

we will not return unless they clean up their rooms
By Joyce, 12/31/06
we have stayed at this motel 3 times, different rooms each time, the rooms are not clean, especially the carpets are ragged, there is lots of mold and mildew, rooms smells horrid of smoke, . they were all supposed to be non-smoking, there is also smells of animal urine, the front desk folks were polite, and the last time she gave us a choice of 2 rooms, both of them were bad, the price is what brought us back. but not again. they need to clean up their rooms,

I recommend the Days Inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/18/06
Don't waste your $28 dollars on this room. I was stuck there for 3 days and purposely avoided the shower in the room. Bring your own linens.

Don't even think about it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/28/05
This place was awful. I guess the only thing it is good for. Is to take a bath and go to sleep. Even then you may want to take along your own linens and bath supplies, as well as cleaning supplies. I will promise, you won't go back
