Don't waste the Money !
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/27/11
BEWARE....If you use Priceline it does not include breakfast. There is no free internet in the rooms. It is 15 minutes to downtown Nashville. Shuttle people are awesome But can't say the same about the front desk people !!!! Rooms are very small and alittle trashy for a 4 star hotel. I would give them a 2 and that's being nice ! Was charged 50.00 a night that won't be returned for 5 days. Would never stay at this hotel again !!!

One of our favorite places to stay!
This year will be the fifth year to visit Nashville and stay at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel. As part of the Music City Bop Club convention, we have a great time and experience exceptional service. Our rooms are serviced quickly, the staff is helpful and friendly. The only complaint that I do have is that there are not enough poolside chairs or tables with umbrellas on the patio to accomodate more than a few. We bring our own bag chairs when attending this event because of that reason. Although we like to go to various restaurants in the area, breakfast is usually there and with no complaints. Since I'm on vacation, being connected to a computer network is the least of my concerns so I cannot comment on this area. We look forward each year to our Memorial Day Weekend trip. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.

Don't stay here!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/12/07
They are totally disorganizied..They have shuttles that go to the airport, downtown and to the mall, but they have really no clue as to when they will be leaving or coming back to those places. The internet in the rooms doesn't work very well, although the service in the "business center" works well but at a higher cost (of course). If your company or organization is having/ or thinking of having a seminar or conference here, don't do it! They had awful technical services, very skimpy meals, served no beverages other than water, coffee or orange juice in over 3 days worth of meals. The rooms look nice and you get a lot of pillows, but the showers aren't that great and the drains are terrible. I think the best part of the whole place is the concierge guy who wears all black and a cowboy hat. He's a pretty nice guy and seems to know what's going on, but he has little to do with the operations and services of the place. Oh, and the elevators worked well.

Looking forward to coming back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/25/07
Our stay at the Millennium Maxwell was wonderful. We've been to Nashville several times but this was the first time staying at the Millennium. We were very happy with our stay there and found the rooms and the staff to be great. We actually had another trip booked for Nov. 2007 at the Millennium but had to cancel due to my husband needing knee surgery. We love Nashville and we try to visit at least twice a year. The Millennium Maxwell Hotel will definetely be a hotel that we will book again. I recommend this hotel to anyone. It's big, impressive, comfortable and friendly, all for a very reasonable price.

looking forward to my next visit
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/24/07
All services were A+ rating. Received warm welcom and hospitality was top notch. The dining area very well maintained. Location is great and atmosphere was home away from home. Management & Front Desk exhibits the right attitude (friendly and helpful). Highly recommend travelers to stay.

Overpriced Dump
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/26/06
Dirty and cramped. The absolute WORST food I've had in some time. Convenient to the slum across the interstate, but not much else. No high speed internet on all floors, no where to get a cup of coffee in the afternoon. They have the nerve to ask $200.00+ per night? Run away - far away.

poor service
By Robert, 5/17/06
Poor customer service. Nice rooms but a little too pricey for no accomodations. 10.00 a day for internet but then they say "we have wireless" which is 4.00 a day. As a Business traveller....should be included. This is 2006

Almost Laughable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/11/06
This hotel bills itself as "luxury" but the dingy carpets, unattractive rooms, and pathetic lack of service make it more like a Faulty Towers than a luxury hotel. The Praline Room resturant had bad food, dirty carpets and teenaged waitstaff who disappeared for long stretches and then came back to ask for clarification. The food was largely tasteless. When I found there was no internet cable in my room I called the front desk. They said they'd get someone to bring one up, but 30 seconds laters said "Oh, there's no one available right now, can you come down?" I cut my stay short, had an argument about the 36-hour cancellation policy and then got them to agree to let me leave without a cancellation charge. However, in the morning, when there was no bill under my door, I called to the front desk -- they told me "Oh we don't deliver the bill to your room, you have to come and get it". Also, I talked to other people who had experienced service breakdowns. One couple took the shuttle to downtown Nashville in the evening -- only one problem -- THE SHUTTLE NEVER RETURNED TO PICK THEM UP! The fact that you have to take a shuttle to get anywhere tells you about the location. Not close to anything that I wanted to do without extra expense or unreliable shuttle service. I checked out, went to the Embassy Suites, saved money and got exactly what I paid for -- clean room, good internet, helpful staff for way less money.

Disappointed
By Erin, 7/23/05
I had stayed in a Millennium hotel in Chicago and was very pleased. I expected that the Nashville hotel would be as nice and I was very disappointed. I arrived and was told that the hotel was overbooked and I was being "walked" to a hotel 20 minutes south of Nashville. One of the reasons I had chosen this hotel was its proximity to the city so being sent out of the city was a large inconvenience. I was "walked" for the first two nights of my stay and was then instructed to return to the Maxwell House for my third night, another inconvenience. The hotel offered to reimburse my credit card for the first two nights but balked when I asked for written confirmation. I have yet to see the reimbursement. The room was moderately clean. The bedding was nice but the carpet was stained and appeared to have cigarette burns (non-smoking room). I was surprised that the rooms do not have high-speed internet. I would not return to this hotel.
