Seaglass Tower, Myrtle Beach

if you haven't stayed here during the off season you have no ideal what you are missing....yes we didn't swim in the ocean...but everything else was so great we felt like crying when the week was over. We stayed for 199!!!! 7 days! and to beat it all we still enjoyed Ripley s! the movie theater was running an off season admission and we spent the day at the movies....to finish out the week we seen Pirates Voyage....I cant even put in words! we sat in L1 that is the AAA seating! the cast was tremendous! We didnt overpay we didn't wait in line. we didn't put up with those pesky tourist...lol. The Sea-Glass tower is the best! no complaints...I over heard some complaining but I have seen it 100 times. People looking for better accommodations or price breaks. ( if you do it you know who you are)..i can tell you the money I saved was more than I spent for entertainment! Oh and one more thing the staff they treated us like locals....they went beyond the expected.....I can say me and my wife felt like we were leaving home at check out.....

We were there last week, we had a very good time. There were a couple of things that could be redone. The bedroom was small, the bedroom was too small ad had too much furnitue in it. The bed was pushed up against the windows and if there is two of you and you have to get up in the middle of the night, you crawl down to get out of bed and then crawl back up to lay back down. My suggestion is to take out the entertainment cabinet out (since there was a flat screen on the wall), put in two night stands one on each side of the bed. This would make it more comfortable for the guests. The hot tub was so hot you could not stay in ( Thought I was a lobster). R. Hawk - South Carolina

I liked everthing about it,loved the windows . it was a great place too see the fireworks. The only thing I didn't like was on two washers and two dryers.I think owener should something about that. but it was worth the money and time. A.Varney

We were samplers of the bluegreen ownership. This was our first stay. We loved it. The staff were very nice and helpful. I have 2 young children who loved the pool, and I loved the fact that the pool is supervised by the front desk staff. We stayed on the 8th floor and the room was great. Housekeeping were also great at keeping our room stocked. We felt like part of the family, we were greeted when leaving and when coming in. The only thing I did not care for was the across the street parking and having to share the pool with the hotel next door. I would especially go back now that I know you do not have to be a owner to stay there.

The staff was friendly,the room was immaculate,location was great. I was somewhat apprehensive about staying at this resort after reading some negative reviews but we had a great experience.We had an ocean view deluxe "room" and it was very impressive.Parking was across the street but was only about 1 minute walk from the reservation desk.There are 2 elevators and one always seemed to be close to where we were, I'm sure it would be more inconvenient during peak periods; as in all other hotels in this area.Unfortunately,there was some beach renovation happening 24 hours a day while we were there but it was a minor inconvenience and something that was out of the resorts' control.The Olympic Flame Pancake house is across the street and serves an excellent breakfast and we had a great dinner(with live music) at Pier 14 which is on the pier. On a negative note: I tried 3 days in a row to get more detailed reservation information from Yahoo travel and they were of little help.Also, the representatives were not very fluent in english.If you want to book an OCEANFRONT room, you need to contact the facility directly.

Resort is great-wonderful location-but on the evening of arrival our vehicle was vandalized in the resort parking lot-staff was very unsympathetic to our being stranded -as an owner very surprised that the parking lot was not better secured.

I loved the hotel. The staff was great, rooms were clean, and the location is second to none. The only complaint I had was the crotchety, old Barney Fife security guard that works there. All week long he harassed us at the pool. He very rudely approached us while sitting at the pool and demanded to see our room key. He would walk by us and not take his eyes off of us. We had a group of about 20 family members and not once did we break a rule, yet Deputy Fife watched us like a hawk. He didn't single us out though. He pretty much harassed everyone.

We checked in May 2 and left May 9. Our stay was just great. Since we are seniors I was concerned about all the college students, but found them to be delightful and very interesting. The resort is just great. Beautiful pools (very cold) and plenty of lounges, tables and chairs. Found their restaurants to be very good. Our only complaint was that with our evening meal we enjoy a cocktail and they just did not know what we were talking about. A manhatten? A martini? Not even in their lovely bar which didn't open until 4pm. Had a lovely room with a great comfy bed. A most enjoyable stay. We also went to their theatre every night and enjoyed all the shows. Just good fun.

Top of the World. Our first visit to SeaGlass left us wanting more, meaning we did not want to leave. Our room was great, the view even better. Could view the sunrise and sunset from this room, overlooking the beach, and the Blvd. at the same time, left us breathless. We have already made plans to return this year, and probably will be making plans yearly.

The view is superb and you are so close to whatever you might want to do. However, I am disappointed that there are only 2 elevators and the wait was horrible with folks backed up that were checking in. Second, no internet connection except in lobby, can't understand that with the Seaglass being the new kid on the block.
