Honest pricing

Call me a goof....or perhaps a Luddite, but I still enjoy speaking with the hotel....especially when I'm at the low end of the scale.......and I've got to congratulate the Homestead Lodge for offering the same rates on the phone as on line. Almost everyone else gives you the runaround on finding low rates.

This place sucks

Anyone that says this is a good deal or nice place, either works there or from the area and supporting the local business. This place sucks. It is dirty and the customer service is horrible. The area reaks of crime and drugs...very unsafe. The price on the sign is $29...for a single room...which they never have. Then no matter what they want a security deposit in addition to the price. There are a thousand reasons why they will keep that deposit, so consider it part of the final price. Also room service comes to clean you room like an hour before check out...waking you up in the process.

I wouldn't have a dog stay here!!

We had asked for a non-smoking room. When we walked into the room, it irked of smoke and looked like a dump. There was a low-life looking guy in the next room smoking, so I told the clerk I would not take that room. She offered to show us another room, which was no better-smelling like urine. This is a very old motel that needs a complete over haul. We did not and will never stay here! It is very unclean & unhealthy.

Time to buy supplies and remodel

Cigarette burns all over carpet, people calling my room in the middle of the night, no extra pillows, no extra towels, rusted refrigerator and microwave
