Check your things

While we were out, the room was vacumned and two of my paring knives were taken. I wasn't sure till I got home and emptied everything out and they were no where to be found.

Bad Motel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/02/07
Air conditioning was not working, bathroom fan was broken and the room has terrible smell. It is an affordable hotel with breakfast. A lot of highway noises for non-smoking session. Since the air conditioning had more noises, I could not hear highway noises. You can get free internet access on a Motel computer in Cafe without printer.

What a Crime!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/26/06
Sheets were stained. No internet in the room as I was told over the phone. It is a motel not a hotel really. It is run down and dillapidated. Security is an issue as well, 2 local police cruisers sat most of the night in the parking lot. The room floors had holes through them, but the carpet covered them up (making a safety issue). The bath tub did not drain adequately. The room was moldy smelling. Very little assistance from staff. I am horrified to experience the wonderful continental breakfast mentioned. If we hadn't already paid for the room we would have gone down the street to another hotel and really paid for service, rather than pay for frustration, disappointment and set backs. Avoid this Motel at all costs. The archway that you drive under to go to your room, is example enough of how desperately this place needs quality maintenance. The room carpet was dirty, felt sticky and all I could think of was insect incubation. The pool was no more than a bath tub outside, slight exaggeration, but seriously small pool and swimming area. I don't understand why a motel/hotel can not provide a wireless or LAN internet in each room for the privacy of the customer.

Not what it looks!
By Ann, 05/21/06
It failed to mention that it was literally off the interstate. Garbage all over the back of the parking lot. The pool had more "guests" than the hotel - it was bug infested and all green. Plus if you went on the other side of the building it was like a slum - garbage/junk all over the place and people were actually living over there. Not a good place to walk around or feel safe if coming in after dark. Definately not a hotel for someone with children.

What a disappointment
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/06/06
researched hotels--saw reviews and that this one was two stars---looked at pictures---very deceiving--got to hotel personnel was friendly--but appearance of hotel was below any ratings--rooms were dirty--bad-unsafe location--fight broke out in parking lot while we were there---would not recommend
