DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Center City, Philadelphia

I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Hotel last week and the customer service was outstanding! If you are looking to save some cash than book it here HotelDealNow.Info I saved like $50 by using that site!

staff was great rooms were great breakfast buffet was awesome great location walking distance to most all centercity sights and events pool and jacuzzi ,nice workout facilities sauna too. great hotel for the money..only dislike was the sirens all day and night but hey its downtown philly.

The room they gave us was between two elevator shafts, and we were woken up every few hours by guests getting on and off the elevators. The pool was closed for renvoatoin the whole time we were there. We were told we could use a local health club, but we had to make reservations first, and they never told us where the health club was or gave us the necessary coupons. We complained about the noise, but they wouldn't change the room. To add insult to injury, we were surprised with a bill for parking just before we checked out. The front desk clerk told us to park in the garage when we checked in, but she did not mention that we would be charged an additional $22 a night for parking. For the price the quality and level of service was poor, and we would not stay here again.

We attended a national conference here. The location of the hotel is great and within walking distance of everything. The room is nice with wonderful views. We ordered room service and ate breakfast at the Academy, and watched a Philly game one night in the O lounge. The concierge desk has great recommendations for area dining and transportation. We only had an ice machine on our floor with the soda machine on the floor above us, but you can get snacks and drinks from the gift shop. Housekeeping and all staff we came in contact with during our stay was gracious and friendly. My one complaint is with the front office clerk at the time of our check out. Our bill had several movie charges that were not made by us. When we discussed the erronous charges on our bill, the front office clerk told us that the movies were watched from our room at the specified times on the bill. We explained that for one we were not even in the room and the other was after midnight and we would have been sleeping. She told us that either we gave our room keys to others or rolled over on our remote at night. It became very embarrassing with her sarcasm and comments that were being made in front of others as there were others coming and going as well. She presented us with a dispute report screen and I noted that before our stay there had been adjustments made, and wasn't there a possibility that billing errors had occured before? She denied that was a possibility. So if you stay there in room 602, I would watch the billing closely as there is some sort of mix-up in that room.

The location is great-walking distance to all the sights and sounds. They just remodeled some of the room-we were lucky to get one of the newly remodeled rooms-it was nice! We tried eating breakfast at the hotel cafe(2nd floor) and the breakfast was so/so-way too much money-I'd eat at a local place-the bell guy was great-when we left he got us a ride to the airport for alot less then the taxi we took there.

It was in 2007 and we were on an Elderhostel trip. We stayed at the Doubletree. Everything was great and a wonderful location. We were in Philly for the Philadelphia Flower Show ( the largest indoor flower show in the world). Dan and Nan

The staff couldn't be nicer. From the doorman, the front desk and housekeeping, everyone went out of their way to accommodate. the rooms are nice and large with plenty of room. The location is great and the pool is big with a nice big outside deck. The food at the restaurant is really fresh and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.

We travel all over the country, and rarely do we come across a hotel where everyone is genuinely friendly and nice. I don't know how they do it, but this hotel hires great people!

Loved the area, the lobby, the restaurants in the area and the museums. The lobby has happy hour during the week and it is a great place to meet up with others who may work in the same area you do - great networking. Nice suites and plenty of room to work and enjoy the area.
