Don't be fooled by the picture of the room on their website. I thought we were in a different hotel when we walked into our room! I should have known what was in store as soon as we entered the lobby (carpet was dirty and the couches in the lobby were worn to say the least). Back to the room - yuck! The bedspreads looked like they were at least 20 years old. Rightfully suspicious - I checked the sheets and found a stain. The front desk moved us to another room. It actually got worse - the toilet was not only covered in hair, but had visible urine stains on the seat as well. The shower curtain had mold on it. Nothing makes you feel squeaky clean like mold! The tour of the hotel didn't help matters - there was yellow caution tape up on part of the deck in the back. The lounge chairs around the pool were dirty and stained. I don't know if it was supposed to be a "fountain" that pours into the pool that was broken or if it was previously a diving board that had broken off - regardless, something was in obvious need of repair! We switched hotels. If you think it will look as beautiful as their website photos - don't waste your money! It was the dirtiest hotel I had ever been in!

Rude staff, terrible food, promises never kept, dirty rooms/hotel and way too expensive for what you actually get. (which isn't much) The location is close to the mountain, but it's actually cheaper/closer and MUCH better to get a slope side condo for your vacation.

Very dirty. I read all the reviews and went anyway because of the location. Bad idea. The front desk personell seemed angry we were there. Almost like it was a bother to help us. We checked in early and went to the room. At first ,it seemed nice. Then we sat on the bed. It was broken at the end. After that we looked around and found everything to be dingey and old. There was tons on dust on the ceiling fan, finger prints everywhere you went , from the lobby to the elevator. The part that made me write this comment was breakfast. The food was OK, but as I looked around at the dinning room I noticed there was food all over the floor around every table. Unbelievable! The place had never been cleaned from the night before or longer. What this place needs is new ownership and a little pride in what they have and it wouldn't take long to turn this place around. But by looking at the rest of these reviews it doesn't look like thats going to happen.

Dont get bamboozeled into having your wedding here. They outright lied just to get them to book the wedding there...they said they were replacing the musty, stained carpet and didnt...they were supposed to replace the broken and delapidated decking where the ceremony was happening and didnt...picked the food from the tasting party they had and was good, but the food we got at the wedding was not what was picked and they served many meals cold. Worst of all they booked the wedding for NASCAR weekend, and did not tell us they wouldnt have enough rooms to accomodate all our family coming from out of state. Rooms were dirty, Service from the staff was horrible. As part of the wedding party i saw first hand how upset the bride was---they offered nothing to compensate for the short comings that kept coming and coming. TRUST ME...dont have your wedding here!!!!!

Take my word for it - DO NOT stay here. The rooms were dirty to say the least. The maid service was pathetic. Never vacuumed, never changed the bag in the ice bucket, didn't clean my ash-tray etc etc. The staff was the most unfriendly staff i have ever seen. The one guy at the front desk had piercing everywhere. Very disgusting and no personally what so ever. I could go on and on but just take my advice and DO NOT stay there.

Stayed one night, not very clean. Reeses peanut butter cup wrappers in plain view on the floor by bed when we checked in to the room. Just seemed and felt dirty. There is a hotel a mile away from Camelback across from the outlets, stay there next time not here!

was on a bday weekend , its a really nice hotel, people where friendly right next to the mountain, hotel, was clean, not perfect but gotta be realistic,but overall would go again,

Upon checking in, we discovered a half-eaten chicken bone under a chair in plain view which had been left from the previous guests. Upon reporting this, the bone was removed by resort staff but we were not offered any assurances that the room had been vacuumed prior to our arrival or that it should be vacuumed and we highly doubt that it ever was vacuumed before our arrival or at anytime during our stay. No apologies were offered from the resort for this unsanitary disgusting oversight. During the remainder of our stay, our trash was never emptied. While in the pool, we witnessed a child throw-up in the pool and around the pool area. It was not cleaned up in a timely manner and we did not visit the pool again due to our doubts that it would be cleaned up in a satisfactory manner. On the last day or our stay, our was not serviced. When we reminded the staff, the room was marginally serviced in that the towels were straightened and hung but nothing had been cleaned. The MountainView Bar and Grille was sub-par bordering inedible and we were quoted 20 minutes for delivery on what ended up being a 50 minute delivery time for room service.

We stayed here during offseason, I guess, the beginning of December. We got the bilevel room with a spiral stairway to the upper loft. So cool! Huge hotel/resort building next to a ski area. There were only about 10-15 other people staying there at the time, so the staff was very courteous and friendly. We stayed one night. We had a great time! We did not eat in their restaurant, but only because we were already too full from eating elsewhere first. Kids would love the bilevel suite!
