DIRTY!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/27/10
The hotel is in major need of tlc. I normally don't mind that, as long as the hotel is clean. I stayed there from 9/24/10 - 09/26/10. Housekeeping was outside my room when I left for breakfast at 9:30 am on 9/25. When I returned to my room at 4:30pm it was still not cleaned. I remained patient. At 6:00pm someone finally knocked at my door, I told them I would be leaving in an hour and they could clean then, they told me it was now or never. Again, I remained patient and said that I would make my own bed. The next morning reported the incident to the front desk, just so they would be aware. I was told by the staff person at front desk that I told housekeeping that I would be out of the room all day so they could clean it at any time. I never had any such conversation with anyone. I also heard many other guests complaining. The elevators, when working were filthy and smelled bad. Not a good experience at all and will never stay there again.

We will never go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/20/10
When we got there I was so tired all I wanted to do is soak in the hot tub, but when we opened the room up it was a disaster. Pilow cases were dirty. Food all over the light switches and walls. Freezer unit was so full of caked on ice I could not use it. Shower had so much mold all over the walls and the floor had hair on it. I went to the front desk and they gave me new pillow cases, and did nothing with the rest of the room. So I ended up cleaning the room myself then 1 hr later I used the hot tub.

THE BEST VALUE,SERVICE,,CLEANLINESS IN SCANTON
By Rob, 2/13/09
The staff, management and especially the Director of Sales (marketing) Scott Thomas were great. Rooms were nice, new, big and immaculate. Housekeeping staff very good, all I had to do ask and the staff responded. I cant believe the other reviews after this stay.Things are really different now

Under New Management
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/11/09
The rooms were immaculate. Housekeeper was very friendly especially to our dog. I read past reviews and find ridiculous because our stay was wonderful. The breakfast was perfect for we are not big eaters in the morning. The pool was nice and warm with brand new towels available. The only complaint is that bedspreads are way too heavy for a small women like myself

Horrible!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/6/07
Was Travelling to many different places over the summer and this by far was the worst hotel!!!!!!!! One of the reasons we stayed there was because of the Wireless Internet access which was not working and when I called to ask why not front desk was very rude and in the 2 days i stayed there it never worked once! Room was terrible! Bathroom was worse dirty not cleaned properly and had a strong cleaning smell! Pool didnt seem clean at all water was all foggy! Would never stay there ever again!

I won't go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/5/07
Now, if this hotel would literally "CLEAN" up its act, the location is perfect, right off 81. However, I don't see that happening. I checked in after 300 miles on the road only to have to change rooms because they could not find someone to fix the tv remote. Right! Plus there was coffee but the room's coffee machine had vanished, no one to solve that either. Then the new room turned out to have its own problems. I went to take a bath but could not because the plug did not work. Then I sneezed throughout the night; I have a dust allergy. In the morning I realized my allergies were kicking up because the rug was dirty; in fact, it did not look like it had been cleaned in a while. Dust was along every wall, and the rug was dirty in general. Then when I went to make coffee I found that the coffee pot was left dirty with old coffee in it from the previous guests. I pointed these things out to the fellow at the front desk but got little support there. I asked if the manager was there but was told that they did not come in until late. I will not return.

THIS HOTEL IS HORRIBLE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/17/07
We reserved 2 rooms that we supposed to be connected and we were told that they were taken. I went there on Feb 16 and left the hotels in 20 minutes. The hall ways were full of small children. On the way to our room there was a crazy guy screaming at my childern and crusing them out. When we walked in the rooms there was a really bad smell that smelled like it wasnt cleaned from the time it was built. The pool was full of small kids. IM SURE THAT WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT HOTEL IN MY WHOLE LIFE. EVEN WHEN I GOT HOME I STILL HAD THE BAD SMELL IN MY NOSE!! I RECOMMEND NOT TO GO TO THAT HOTEL.

I would never stay here again
By Nikki, 2/28/06
The first thing wrong with this stay was we reserved 2 smoking rooms and then was told sorry your not getting two, then when my friend and I went to ours rooms they really were not all that clean( dirty floors like someone was walking around with dirty shoes) and in the so called "clean" shower there was a long, curly brown hair on the wall and it was not either of ours..GROSS... The night time was just as bad, the was about a million kids running around all night long banging the doors in and out a million time running up and down the hall ways all hours of the night. And when it came to the breakfast it was great if you did not mind a bunch of children running around and picking egerything up and touching it and then leaving it there for some un knowing person to eat it.. But on the other hand we did enjoy the comedy club.. very nice and fun.

Good for reunions.
By iartsports, 12/4/05
Too dull. Service is not enough. Elevators work well, so that's fine. Environment is nice, but the parking lot is too small. Good locale, since it is close to restaurants and not far from Montage.

Will definately stay there again!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/1/05
Service was slow at the in house lounge for dinner. Would not dine there again. Continental breakfast was good. Pool and hot tub were very nice. Pool was big enough to swim in, hot tub was nice. Rooms were clean and requests for extra towels and pillows were accomodated with a smile. Directions to area attractions as well as dining were easy to understand. Will definately stay there again!!
