Not what it once was.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Station Square with my wife for the first time in 11-12 years. The hotel is in a great location but is really showing it's age. Our room was small and had been updated with a flat screen TV, but there was about the end of any noticeable updates. The carpets both in the room and especially in the hallways were filthy and more than well worn. There were other signs to many to mention of the hotels advanced age. Unfortuantely for us there was a Pitt Syracuse football game the weekend we stayed. There was a great deal of hallway noise, people drinking, being loud and roudy. Something I would expect at a Days Inn but not a $200-$300 a night hotel. On Saturday we went to the pool and found it to be very nice, however there were a half dozen children playing in the Jacuzzi even though the signs posted clearly stated "Children Were Not Permitted" I wouldn't reccomend the hotel unless you were looking for a place to get drunk, get rowdy, and youve got $250 a night to throw down the tubes.
