Ramada Inn, Altoona

Location was great but after that it is all downhill. Booked a month in advance, upon check in, our rooms had been moved and the price increased $32 per night- all else booked up so had no choice but pay it. Rooms not all worth what your paying, I have stayed in Motel 6's that had nicer rooms. Pool was disgusting, could see where kids had scratched their names in the dirt that had built up around the sides. We had pool side balcony room which was nice until someone turned on the hot tub which iss horribly loud for some reason. Then we had issues on top of it all like no hot water for a shower and the tub didn't drain. I had to wait 15 minutes after my husband to get out for tub to drain to avoid standing shin deep in water (my husband is a quick showerer even!). All the outlets in our room we overloaded with ungrounded plug extenders- least amount plugged into one outlet was 4. Stayed 2 nights but we didn't dare go eat at their restuarant considering the lack of quality in the rest of the hotel. Overall, save some money and some frustration and go somewhere else.

After spending just one night at the ramada,,, I was extreamly unhappy...There was some kind of kids convention going on and The kids were not supervised running the halls with candy and stomping,,,,no adult in sight....knocking on doors after 11 pm,,,,very loud and not to mention using the hot tub when it is posted you must be 16 or older...in which they splashed out so much water that it had to be refilled and we were unable to use it because of cold water...but the most upsetting thing is after complaining I got an apology from the front desk clerk,,,who just a few minutes later gave another group with us a half price deal when they complained...I want a full refund...and will never stay with ramada again...there were other issues with towels for each member in the room and the cold rubbery eggs for breakfast also...
